You want us to know one another "better". Hmmm... smells fishy/salty. Why not? Maybe you can take lead, I will put your thread as Sticky is this 92 forum. How's that? Becareful hor, you may not have so many people turning up. Can you roughly tell me who will turn up, to see whether it's worthwhile to put in efforts to organise it?

BTW, we are gathering this Saturday and the number of people who registered so far is very discouraging. Why not you also come and have a wonderful time chatting/talking nonsense, Susan? After all, we are not limited to get to know our year-mates, but also our seniors.

i'll probably be in malaysia over easter to renew my passport. will try to drop by in kl. ray, will you be around then? we should all catch up then.

the trick is to keep it simple. plan a day, plan a time, plan a place (mamak preferably) and then just get there. since i have been given the task i shall get the ball rolling.

i figure a friday is good. all can come after work. so lets fix it on Friday, the 17th December. place we set at dahroos la (i'm sure everyone knows where it is). time we set to 8pm till late. OK?

anyway the invitation is open to everyone la. but seeing the response from JC's effort, quite susah. we'll see how it goes, maybe will have to split this thread into an announcement. we concentrate on our year first ya?

for those who can't make it on this date, worry not cause there will be many more. for those who want to just meet up and catch up or maybe see how fat kochun is :) do come and join us k?

as an incentive, all who attends get 1 free banana!! i belanja!

as i said before, i can't come until may, but i will be thinking of you. if it does turn out that you are sitting there eating bananas all by yourself, you give me a call (i can PM my phone number later if you want - or do you have it already?) and i will eat a banana with you on the phone (it will be saturday morning for me and i usually eat a banana for breakfast anyway)

i should be around for 4 weeks in may though, and i'm trying to finagle with my parents so i can hang out in KL for a week or so of that time so hopefully we will be able to hang out together more than my usual quick visit. can't wait to just duduk at a mamak stall with you guys man...

good friday is 25th of march. so, i should be in malaysia that weekend. will probably stay for a week. i'll go to jb first to renew my passport and say hi to the folks. then will drop by in kl. will you be around then? might bring along a friend with me too.

we're planning to have it be the weekend - may 20 (fri) but the kenduri itself is usually on the saturday may 21. but i'm planning to be home 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the event.

of course - i will definitely give more info. the dates are pretty much set but no invites are ready yet - my fiance has to pick his muslim name and whatnot... but we are definitely planning to have the akad be on 20-05-2005 - cute number right? traditionally the big kenduri will take place the day after the akad ceremony, so saturday may 21.

thanks for the kind wishes, sethu - aiyaaa, invitation kad also belum tempah one. i promise, when all the info is more settled (logistics and whatnot - although the date is set!), i will put up a post and it will be a '92 gathering. i invite nanti, jangan risau. at my brother's wedding, a bunch of the ACS teachers came (since my mother's colleagues what) so maybe mr. patrick et al will also be there. so you guys should certainly come and terrorize them once more!!

when it's closer to the date, if you guys will rsvp that way i can make sure everybody will be fed who come, ok?
