View Full Version : Ghost stories.....
Any ACS ghost stories to tell???
I know that near the old ACS Hall, the double story classes, the penjaga told us that when he did his rounds at night there, he use to hear footsteps up in the second floor. He went up there but did not see anything. Was also told that near that hall, a lof of people was killed there during the Japanese occupation, thats why its haunted.

dino... I'm not sure whether there is ghost or not in ACS school. But I'm sure there is a dinosour roaming few million years ago... still is active in the forum.... :)
Please stick to the topic of discussion!!!! ;)
I remembered clearly when I was still in the scouts movement. There was once a jamboree held in our school. 4 scouts including myself were ordered to make rounds during the night. During our nite patrol, as we approached the area behind the hall, we saw a figure all in white with white headscarve waving at us as of beckoning us to go nearer...... All four of us turned 180 degrees and ran like crazy.... This experience was never spoken until today...

Happyghost will definitely agree with me...this is your best quote so far. Thumbs up!
Well...what Dino said is true. During our primary days, we dare not even go to the surau upstairs (Darjah 6 Hijau) and some of our girl classmates will start yelling and hugging each other when they heard sounds creeping from the back of the class. Cilakak, my bulu roma also naik already thinking of it.
Hey JC,
You recall the hysteria case in 88? I think 3 girls got it and when they were taken to the surau near the secondary new canteen there were reports that the girls voices change to an old lady and the iman teachers were yelling for the entity to leave.

Dino... don't be angry-lah... The double story classroom seems to past down one year to another.... Many stories on the classroom upstairs particularly the partition on the back of the blackboard....where they use it as storeroom... which it used to be classroom untill for some unknown reason they decided not to use the room. One of the rumour is that the room is being "occupied" by ....
.....that was when I was in standard 6...

This kind of thing dun want to remember.. especially when it is now very close to midnight... But I do remember... it was scarrryyyyyyy
i remember in primary school, for sports we were practising the raptai and marching out from the small field behind the old primary school hall to out to the main field. it was hot and took a long time. one of the teachers (i forget what her name is now) started getting hysteria and screaming stuff in a very scary ass voice speaking some language i don't know what...the ustaz and other teachers had to take her someplace and do some exorcising i think. i heard one of the teachers later say the hysterical teacher was screaming profanities in thai. i think one of the dead torture victims from WW2 apparently possessed her or whatever..

The old jambang also dem scary..even the boys then have to go in pairs to ease themselves. BASKETBALL..not too sure which idiot cooked up a story saying that there's a headless Indian ghost berak-ing in the jambang. But it still lingers in my memory. Shit..my bed sheet is wet

Do know that the acs old hall stage..... there was a story that the stage is used to parade the pow and then chopped their head off.... some old teacher discreetly shared this with the student that sometimes when the hall is empty.... and al closed up you can still peek into the hall from behind windows...where they had saw figures walking on the stage....
Heard about the story of the boys playing hide and seek near the old hall.
Some of the boys hid near below the stage, one of them saw what appears to be a pair of legs under the stage. Heard after that, nobody dares to play hide and seek near that place.

I think i heard that story about the headless indian ghost near that toilet. Remember there were housing just beside the ACS school. Some of the residents there claim that they have seen something moving up on the double story class....
Sila, did that happen near that primary school store room near the administration office? I know in that hysteria case in 88, a lot of students were Kah Poh'ing near the secondary school surau, and when one of the girls started to speak in a different tone, all of them Kah Poh's just fled like nobody's business.

dino - i was standing right smack in the field behind the hall (bounded by the old school hall, the primary school classrooms (5K back in my day), the 2 story primary school old building, and the secondary (form 1, 2 & 3) 2 story building. the teacher might have either been in one of the classrooms below the 2 story building or somewhere like that lah... she came running out screaming onto the field. freaked me like crazy lah...
and now that it's night time for me, i think it's time for me to stop reading this thread - my bulu roma and my rambut also naik already...

I was told that the field behind the old hall was where the beheaded bodies were buried. Apparently, the gardener did accidentally dug up one of the skulls when he cangkul the place to plant some flowers...eeeee...
I sort of recalled (can't remember who told me) that during one of the scouts camp held at the school, one of the boys was posessed when he went to fetch some water and chased his friends around with his eyes closed....urggg...gross.
Personally, I have not seen any in the school though I had an encounter in Taman Pelangi where I used to stay. I saw this woman in all white (like the sembayang attire). I only realized that she was not human when she disappeared in a dark spot right before my eyes.

Hey, speaking of where you live, we had a cleaner lady who comes to my house about 1x a week and she cycles thru that little road that connects to ACS thru Nan Hwa. She claims that one early morning, she actually heard sounds of pigs getting slaughtered while passing thru it. I don't recall any pig farm near there but she never took that route back in the early mornings or evenings after that.

This is not ACS specific but …have you ever woke up in the middle of the night and felt you couldn’t move a limb although you were conscious? I’ve heard various explanations to this phenomenon but remained convicted that it is supernatural…
Not trying to convert anyone here but I used to experience this often (like once a week) until I started attending MYF regularly. The one last time it happened, I actually saw – not sure with my eyes or mind – this ghostly skeletal figure staring at me and reaching out to touch me (still shudder when I think of it sometimes). I prayed and prayed until it went away. Think I broke free from it that day coz I stopped experiencing this paralytic phenomenon since.
Anyone care to share Mr. Tan Yee Ho’s rocking chair story when he first move into his house?

I experienced a few times since 1980s. Sometimes, can see shadow sometimes not. sometimes as if it happened in the dream sometimes half awake. Once I saw a dark shadow choking me and immobilize my limbs. Praying is the only thing can do at the moment. Don play play..Do pray pray! Anyone know y "the one" likes to kacau us in this way?

Not so long ago I heard ppl in Sitiawan talking about seeing the Chinese Imperial Vampire (kiong C-in cantonese).
Anybody have the details of the story?
Alk...i have the story but will post it later. Unless someone else has a better version....i think my version is quite complete. I think i heard it from my mom. But i will post it later. Going to workout now. ;)
Ok.....Sitiawan Vampire(can't remember my source) but story goes something like this(hope i recall it correctly, if not sorry ah)......
I think the whole thing started after the death of the grandmother in the family.
It seems that after her death, more and more death occured in the family. I was told that there were at least 1 death every month or something like that.
Somehow, some of the family members got concern and decided to find help from a Feng_shui master. They somehow got hook up with 1 from Taiwan or China(Not sure) and the master say that the family has something evil troubling it. They then flew the master to their home and somehow, using his instruments, he pinpointed the evil to be coming from the family's grandparents grave. Note, the grave was not the usual 6 foot under kind of grave. It was those that they slide the coffin into the cement grave. Think of it as like a drawer. So it was basically above ground.
When they visited the grave, the master noted that the grave had a crack in it. It looks like the crack was cause by lightning strike. This affirms his belief that even the "Heavens" was trying to send a message. So based upon this discovery, the master said that the grave must be opened so that the evil can be taken care of. And as you all know, in feng-shui, the timing of performing ceremonies is important.
So it was concluded that the opening of the grave was to be done in the wee hours in the morning with the full moon. I think about 3-4 am. Rubber tappers were usually up at this hour to start working and it did arouse some curiosity among them.
The hired people who were going to opened up the grave began their work to break open the grave. The grandmother and grandfather was buried side by side in the same manner. So they started breaking open the grandmother's grave, pull out the coffin and found that the body is almost decomposed. Nothing strange there.
They then began to open the grandfather's grave and took out the coffin, when they opened it up........everybody that saw the grandfather's grave just scrambled and running away screaming from it in fear. Imagine, 4am in the morning with on lookers, suddenly people were doing that, surely it scared the be-jezus out of everybody. Then thats where the vampire story got its name from. The body of the grandfather had not yet decomposed. It has long hair, long nails and teeth. And......the grandfather died 10 years before the grandmother. Thats where the vampire got circulated around.
After the bodies of the grandparents was disposed of properly, they built a little well near the grave of the grandparents. The rule was that, if the well ever dried up, that would be a sign that something bad will happen to the family.
Tamat!!!
There you have it folks, the vampire story, Dino's version.
Btw, scientifically, under correct conditions, the body will not rot. So in this case, the scientific explanation would be that the body was in the process of mummification, thus the shrinking of the skin makes it looked like the nails grew, the teeth look longer. Hair...that one i dunno.......

Yup...this was the same version I heard although I don't remember the chronology of it. What I do know is there were many deaths, mostly accident fatalities. Apparently, the 'vampire' was a close relation of ours. I wonder if anyone managed to take some pictures of the body.
It is true that under the right conditions, the body will not rot. My grandma said this was quite a common occurence where she stayed as a little girl back in China. But then again, this is Malaysia and the humidity would have quickened the process of decay unless some chemical has been added or the dead old man was poisoned...well, what can I say. It's a waste they disposed of it so quickly. Otherwise, we may just be able to learn a thing or two about this phenomenon.
Also, i did see the pictures of the vampire in the chinese newspaper.I vaguely remember it but it sure looks like a mummification process when i think back.

oh..I have one too..not ACS related..but one fine night..a young man driving along the old road instead of using the highway..he saw a poor old lady waving to stop the car..and somehow..OK he says and he stopped by. The old lady said . "Encik ar.. boleh tumpang balik kampung..dekat saja..saya punya basikal sudah rosak."
The young man saw her carrying so many thing, "ok come in" he says.
as he was driving the old lady suddenly became so quite..suddenly a bright light radiated from her...wah  he quickly stopped the car and got out.
The old lady was not in the car anymore. Suddenly she stood behind him and
said....

all these stories really brings back memories. have heard alot of it but has never actually witness one myself.......not that i am hoping for it.
have actually experience been suffocated though. feels like everything spinning around me and i come move my body even though I tried very hard. when i open my eyes, i feel really exhausted and dizzy. no shadows though. it stopped when i was in college. my conclusion is that it could be a symptom of dehydration because it only happens to me when the weather is extremely humid.
anyone heard about stories of 4K and 4H (the classrooms that is on the first floor). Heard that the place was use to hang locals by the japs. the classrooms are rather spooky especially 4K. have not seen anything myself but alot of my classmates claimed they have.
anyone got a nice ghost story of ACS to share?
i heard the netball field behind the Dewan Lama SRK ACS used to be execution place for jap to cut off ppl's head
anyone heard this before?

Every schoolI went sure got some story one expecially about Jap army and headless ghost...
But during my form 6 time. I was looking for room to stay near ACS. So my friend found one at the junction going towards SP 2 and SP 3 road near the current traffic lights, there is a hardware shop with 4 stories building. They are renting for 80 ringgits for 3 rooms. So we went for check up the building on the 3rd floor. The room looks very nice and there is a Indian family staying on the 4th floor. We were so impressed tell the owner we going to rent.
So we were talking about it in the class and my fellow class mate saying this building got some ghost stories. So any one know this place??

Ghosts....hmmm......i can't say for sure what i saw but here goes....
As some of you all know, there is a road that leads into the rubber estate in T.K Liew Road. Anyway....i think i was Form 1 and i love riding my dad's motorcycle into the the rubber estate whereby you reach the end of the road and there is a river.
One evening.....at about 6.30pm....it was quite dark....i rode the bike into the end of the road near the river....as i approach the river.....i slowed down the motorcycle to park it there.....just as i turn off the motorcycle....i heard something in the bushes....i turn my head and i got goosebumps all over me....i believe i saw a black pair of legs walking into those bushes.....as i said before....till today.....i still do not know what i saw.
But nevertheless....i reach for the motorcycle keys and started the bike like mad...you know laa...C70...have to jump start it with leg.....and almost lost control of my bike in first gear...after that day.....i never ventured into that part of the rubber estate again that late.
I told this to my mom and she said that i could have seen an water otter...but what i saw was dark black and was walking like legs. I'll never know what i saw......

Talking out ghost stories…
A few friends of mine used to go to the east coat (Pahang) quite often. To get there early they will leave KL after midnight. During one trip, these 4 guys were driving on the highway (Karak I think) which was very quiet. But everytime they passed the occasional car on the opposite, the cars started flashing their lights at them. After a few cars, they felt that maybe something was wrong with their car. So they stopped by the side and asked one of the guys to check the car out. He gets out looks around the car and it looks fine. Just before he enters the car, he sees this lady sitting on top of the car and she’s just smiling! He freaks out gets into the car and tells the driver to just drive without stopping. Everytime a car passes by and it flashes they go “shit, she’s still there”. Only when the cars stopped flashing they knew she was gone!
Was in Hanoi last month and when I checked into the hotel, they got someone to accompany me to my room with the bags. Just before the person inserted the key card, she rang the room bell! I asked her why and she went, “To let the person inside know we are coming in”!! Damn, could not sleep the whole night, was totally freaked out although nothing happened.

A few tips to you if you are staying in a hotel. (I bet KoChun need to refresh his memory again.)
1) Ring or tap on the door before you enter.
2) If you are staying alone in the room and having 2 single bed, put your luggage on the unoccupied bed. (Just incase you got teman in the middle of the night.) :D
3) Never leave your shoes facing your bed.
4) Turn one side of your shoes upside down.
5) Leave the toilet light on.

I had similar flashing experience when I drove along the Bidor-Teluk Intan road. Finally cannot tahan also. Stopped to check what's wrong with my car. Nothing wrong and got damn angry for being stupid to react to those cars. As I was about to get into my car, I noticed a policecar parked in the palm oil estate acrrying out their speed trap duty... hahahahahha. It was day time la...

This is meant for Oriental ghost, how about kwai-lo ghost?

Kwai Low ghost:
1) Sleep with your bible
2) Carry a nail with you
3) If item 1 and 2 doesn't help, sleep next to the reception counter. :D

This is what I do. Put a cloth over the speed trap. When hantu was detected (got bunyi wat), then quickly removed them. So easy. Won't get caught wan.
