One good maid U got here..I got a doctor frend in Ipoh, he got a maid like this lor, every year let her go back for holiday for 3 weeks lor, but last year she never come back liao after working for 7 years....Never even says good bye dissapears like that.....:(

I say send her back. Not worth to have a maid causing tension in a family. Let your mom choose the new one herself, then she won't complain even if not good.

Reading between the line, i feel that the maid is not the source of prob here. The prob is she feel unsecured about your concern for her, the maid is just an excuse. Did you try to understand exactly how she feels, try to explain to her your feeling? I have a feeling she tells your sis everything, so why dun you find out more from your sis?

Contract almost expire so they decided to send her back, but before they did she ran away with a Bangla worker. My fren finally found out that the maid was pregnant and din want to go home, that's why she ran away.
Now the best part...many months later, her young children finally told her...
while the maid was with them, she made them go to their room to sleep every afternoon, while she and her bf sleep in mummy's and daddy's room.:eek:

Once my phone bill came listing one particular M'sia h/p no...the calls made ard 6x per day, continuous for 4 whole day. I started getting suspicious as my hub always use my h/p to make personal calls ( his phone line is a company one)....and started going thru his phone list in his h/p but couldn't find that particular no. Curiosity started to kill me, so i approached him with the Q who that no belongs to. Apparently the no is my hub's Msia h/p line, and it was i who made that particular calls. So paiseh...:o
That's the problem of having speed dials...made me can't even remember my hubby no.

What for the gahment make noise? The maid are already getting more than in M'sia. We consumer...people who hire the maid are the one who should make noise. Pay double when the market rate is only S$280.

Another cracko maid story...my SIL one.
My MIL, SIL & family went for hols, din bring the maid so parked her in my house in Ipoh for 2 weeks. Very relax lorr, spend most of her time in the spare room downstair. I knew that she spend a lot of time writing letters but i dun bother her, just let her be. What i didn't know was she went through all my photo albums, also kept in the spare room, and god knows what else. It was much later that when she asked my SIL to post a letter to her father in Indon, my SIL found a photo inside. My MIL and SIL thought it looked like me but not sure...the maid kept denying it said it was a pic of her fren. Luckily my MIL smart, threaten to bring her to me to verify the pics...then only she admit. OMG ...if she had sent my pics to her father, and he put a jampi on it...i may now be in Indon...as his 2nd wife!:eek:
Dun understand why she would want to steal my photo...i din ask her because my MIL request me not to let my hub know otherwise he will get angry. I did tell my hub but asked him to keep it low profile. At least we are more careful of the maid now.
