Realising that nothing was going to happen that night I went to sleep.
The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her.

We went out for a nice lunch and then went shopping. I walked around with
her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't
decide which one to take so I told her that we'll just take them all. She wanted new shoes to complement her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit.

We went on to the jewellery department where she picked out a pair of
diamond earrings. Let me tell you, she was so excited. She must have
thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I think that I threw her a loop when I said "That's fine honey". Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier".

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it".

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled
"WHAT???!!!"

I then said, "Really honey! I just want you to HOLD the stuff for a
while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man
enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman" And just when
she had this look like she was going to kill me I added. "Why can't
you love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Already gone out whole day kai-kai on the canals and museums. Canals are very beautiful with their centuries old house and their museums are really great.

Now is resting time in the hotel. About 6PM here and getting dark cos it;s winter. Weather is quite nice. Not too cold. Just like Cameron in the evening. It's the getting dark that is the boring part.... I am waiting for it to be darker, then can go merayau-rayau in the Red Light District which is quite close to my hotel. Already got a taste of it when I walked past the area at about 5PM, the mama-san will sit behind the door and wave to ask people to go in.

Also, damn boring to travel alone. But, getting used to it after doing it so many times.

If you track back the original thread where it came from, it's actually popular hit during the 80's. I know the touch, touch song is quite mushy but during that time it was a real hit. I've not heard josh song in the 80's nor it was a hit. That is how I vote the song. But if you would have noted the preference then probably I'll choose Josh cos his lyricks is more meaning ful.
