I was moderating the thread. That thread was getting messy and without continuity when Alfred edited all his posts.

In the process of moderating, I could have accidentally deleted the whole thread.

Ok guys sori for doing this the whole day. I'm seriously adddict to the forum as I write in the addict site on sign and symtoms of forum addict. It had being a few sleepless night and I wake up feel tired to the bone because of whole night dreaming and thinking of the forum. Sometime I just wanted to wake up to log in. I started this forum on 02/12/2005 which was my birthday and I was looking for foochow in China. I was trying to look for my ancester at that time so tried to log on. It was a wonderful days after that til I forgot my patients and family.
I can say I was a bit of clown from the way I post in the forum, but all this is just for the name of having fun. I as a professional actually should have do that. But the youth side deep inside me kept me going for that kind of post. Sorry for offending some of u. I was just trying to help some of U on few medical issue which I think which I was able to help as much as possible and in between that adding some sugar and salt to make it tasty.Then the old monotonous medical way. I'm not expecting any thing in return for this stupid remark and advice. Everthing was going fine until I was curious on the button of CP. Then I notice something which is differents from the rest. I noted a nasty remark on my post on the chicken pox issue. This issue was missed understood by LiLian. I tried to explain to her in few PM. But her snobbish behaviour really make me sad and angry.
For me I'm just helping without expecting anything in return. But this issue really make me weak or no drive to be here.
I also don't understand why the adminstrator kept editing some one posting. It is very rude to say. This post no matter how stupid she think, U cannot edit on your own will. Each posting is reflecting each person ability and can be called journal or master piece. This doesn't give U the right to do that to any one in this forum. If U need some control to the forum then PM the person involved.
The way I look here is like all of the forumner R so worried to be deleted or ban from the post. So the behaviour is trying to carry balls or somethings else.
Once again I'm sorry for making the forum like this for deleting all my previous posting.

alfred98, giving reputation is a right of any member. no one can or will prevent other members from giving the good or bad reputation. that's the way it is. i'm not sure what happened but you seem to be saying good bye.

however, as alumni, you're always welcome in the forum if you follow the rules - DO NOT EDIT YOUR THREADS THE WAY YOU DID AGAIN. it makes the forum unreadable. please take this request seriously.

I am also very very sad that things have turned out the way it has.

1. This Forum is SUPPOSED for us to get together as one big family to share and catch up with old times and get in touch with friends as all of us share a common background....ACS Sitiawan.

2. It is a place for us to DESTRESS and not STRESS up.

3. Giving repo is our individual rights and we dun mind but the remarks that follows can be very hurting, at times.

4. PM is one of the ways of communicating privately our thots and comments.

But I must say thru all of these is the tactfulness of our messages and intentions and the encouragement that will see us thru our daily chores and the job that we are in.

To all incl alfred98, SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE.....as our mission in this world is only temprorary. We are going to a better place and we are just passing thru...everything we have, money, car, houses, etc are just things that only helps us to live life a little easier....at the end of it all, we still have to return to the Maker and leave everything else behind.

Lets live and live happily together so that we can make this world a better place. Let bygones be bygones.

i don't even know where to start, or even if this is a wise move posting openly...
then again, since i'm already labelled the evil admin (and most likely a bi**h), here are my views...

1. editing posts is part of my duty here - when posts contain rude remarks, obscenity, nudity etc, i will edit those away... i am not just picking on your posts... i don't have time to pm individually to ask forummer to edit their posts etc, so this is standard procedure...

2. when i repped you, as i said in my pm, it was strictly a personal opinion on my part... i did not say anything else otherwise within the threads or to anyone else... i was responding to you through pm but you came back to me with a threat "to retract or else"... i find that unacceptable...

3. i was honest and even include my name within my comment... i could easily repped you without id, so i am stunned with your behaviour... i have also explained to you my view as to why i repped you... you cannot change my opinion as to that regard... making it public here will not change anything...

4. sometimes, thread postings garner some serious tone and it can be annoying for anyone who wants proper information to get a bunch of unrelated issues and veering off topics... this is a general remark... i know this is supposed to be a place for fun, but sometimes there are things that simply need to be taken more seriously so a productive discussion can be facilitated... information sharing is valued here...

5. i am helping to moderate this forum without pay (i'm not looking to be paid and would gladly continue to help moderate), but of late i have notice a lot of "flaunt in your face" type of remarks directed to me and at times i sense purposeful postings that seem deliberate in undermining me, which i have not said anything to at all... it is disrespectful, and i accept that i cannot change one's perspective of how they see me... that doesn't mean any of these remarks didn't hurt...

6. i apologise to everyone that this has to be aired publicly in this manner... i just cannot sit back and take all these in without clarifying my position

7. finally, i know i am very strict when it comes to moderating the forum in comparison to the other mods/admins, but i am doing it only with good intention... if anyone need any assistance at any point, i am more than happy to help out too... but if you believe i am doing it wrong, please pm and let me know...
