You are always suspicious like your elder brother. This is not a chess game lah. Just some normal interview to get to know leslieho better. Unless you have other different agenda? :p
So, you want to help me out here to interview him when I'm not around?

Actually, both sexes are equally 'keng'. Men's game is very fast. Sometimes, the ball travels so fast that you missed it. Then you ask, the ball in or out ah? Women's games a bit slow la... So, can follow the game and the strategy easier. Old people like me, eyesight also slow liao... so, have to watch a slower game lo... So, no other reasons other than this la... If anyone think otherwise, please express your opinion la.... We practise open communication here. Say what u think. But, this is not a license to defame people. No UCUA (AUKU) here...

So, if you are good, you make it to the team la.... We were very fair and tranparent. However, ppl with long legs somehow became better spikers. This applies to the men and women teams. PP was one of the best players in Manjung that time. Almost made it to Perak team if the selectors were more transparent.

Most of the selection team members hails from Ipoh at that era. Our U-15 boy's team (1984) was one of the better team in the whole Perak but we lost by duece (in a thrilling 5 sets game) to Ipoh team due to some 'foolish & bias' umpire. During the State Selection game, the 'setter' don't even bother to set to our players then. This bias system is really killing the game. What is your point of view?

This is the real situation at that time. I have seen games where the umpire was so biased that the lineman threw the flag and walked-off. The ball was in by almost ONE METER and the umpire said it's out. The linesman threw the flag and walked away.
You have to be extremely good that no body can deny the right to play for Perak. So good that everyone acknowledge that you should be in the team even before selection. Francis Xavier was one of the very good players during our time.

Wow...we have played opposite side of Francis Xavier in our daily evening games. Some of us were contemplating wearing crash helmet to avoid being hit by his spikes! I can still remember vividly how he 'float' and paused few seconds in the air for a perfect spike. Where's he now and the rest of the Ayer Tawar gang namely Nick, Bakri and Susu?

Peter is very active with Manjung volleyball. He played for Terengganu when we was there in the early 90's. Today, he is coaching Manjung boys. He has produced many national players from Manjung. The 3 famous brothers from Ayer Tawar were his players. Last met him in May this year. He is teaching in UiTM in Sri Iskandar.

ada lerrr.....one evening after a furious day of training with the volleygirls with much arguing between one of the players and our coach, i got a call from my friend complaining about the coach. one hour later......
when i put down the phone it rang again, and lo and behold it was the coach complaining about my friend! :D one hour later......and even my MA was complaining about the telephone!!!
PP was one of the best players in Manjung that time. Almost made it to Perak team if the selectors were more transparent.
actually not strictly true.....i wasn't really good enough (not fast enough, not enough stamina and not tall enough, some more too bloody minded to receive proper training when it was available..... :p ) and i dint really want it enough to try harder. the other problem of course was the training centre was in Ipoh, and it's unrealistic for non-Ipoh athletes to travel there every day. unfortunately there is no money and no support for training centres in places like S'wan so really it is the State's loss that Alka and his mates & countless other non-Ipoh kids dint get selected

In life (Getting philosophical here), we must not chase quantitative stuff, it does not reflect quality. We need to bring good things to life. I would prefer getting the 5th boobies in a single nite. The fourth is just a click away...... Vote for me!!!
So, do not loose sight of Quality. Even our gomen emphasizes on quality. They have Hari Q. That's also the reason why GLCs are embarking on VSS. Quantity is cost. Quality contributes to bottom line.

This is a brilliant idea from an ACS boy. Specifically, ACS Sitiawan. We are proud of you. We can definitely start a business to mass produce all the kuih-muih.
Franchise it in Asia. MLM in Europe. You can establish to EU point of entry in London. Scouting is a very good extra curricular activities for students especially boys. Girls have Girl Guides to join. But some girls would prefer to be Girl Scouts. In some ways, they do help to cheer things up a little during scouts’ activities.
I shall tell you one really bad memory. Maybe can do more on other days if you like to hear more of it.
One of the worst memories from scouting during my days was that there was a perception of biasness among scoutmasters to help a particular school/troop to be the champion troop during camping competition. Before I continue, I would emphasize that this is a perception. The truth is in the heart of the scoutmasters and how the boys felt about the whole affair. The main prize for inter-school camping was the best troop award. There was a lot of subjectivity in the way the judging took place. That particular school kept on winning to a point that ACS and Nan Hwa scouts became good friends because of common interest (victimization, if you like).
One year we spend a lot of effort to plan for a competition in Teluk Batik even knowing very well we may end up loosing again. In that competition, we swept almost all competitions that have objective and transparent scoring be it, cross country, backwoodsman, tracking, etc, etc. We were leading by many points. However, the only result that no one knows was for the best campsite competition. The judging was subjective. No one knew about the weightage, etc. I guess that time, scouting already practiced OSA. As expected, when the final results for the Overall Champion was announced, that school won again. We almost wanted to pack up and leave the campsite during the closing ceremony. But, we did not because we did not want to leave a bad impression in the mind of the younger boys.
Looking back, the objective of scouting is about developing boys and to make them better citizen. Ultimately, the greed of certain people destroyed the hopes and aspirations of many boys.
Yet, we were filled with hopes. We could see the pattern and made a prediction that 1st Sitiawan troop (ACS) will be the champion troop within a few years. Our prediction came true. How and why remains a perception as well.

I think Mr Ho has already mentioned this. Well, boys will be boys. They like to disturb one another especially the seniors who think they have more rights to bully/tease the juniors.
They like to put things into your mouth when you sleep. If you sleep with your mouth open, then more likely you will be fed with all sorts of stuff - vinegar, salt, sugar, toothpaste. We also established a rule to allow the victim to 'react' in any way they like when they are bullied. So, those bullies may get punch and not being able to hit back. Personally, I have hit a few boys before for disturbing my sleep.
Other than that, they are generally good boys.

In this case, Alka can take the picture of his butt and post it here, if Dino is proven worng, I am sure everyone will give him RED repo.

TK Ho, let bygones be bygones.....
My dad was one of the founder of OPA with Dr. Chua. But when OPA started to have some money in the kitty, a bunch of ppl, I wont say who, backstabbed them and got them, the initial founders of OPA, out. Of course, dad and the rest have stayed away from OPA.
Life is so short and we have to live every minute of it to its fullest. Like I always say, Soar like an eagle, then you will have better perspective of life. If we are going to be concerned with every little potholes in life, how are we going to cruise down the road.

The decision is entirely up to you or anybody else. But if you want to execise your vote, then you have to do what you have to do. Thats the way all consititutions are written.
Just like the General Election in any contry, if we want to vote, whether you are happy with the gomen or not, then you have to say it thru your vote. But if you counldn't care less what is happening, then you dun vote, so no need to register.

Your problem is very easy to solve. I can provide you with long term and short term solution.
For short term solution, whenever you are required to go drinking, just bring a few of us along to help you drink lo... very easy. We yum-seng on your behalf. You do the screaming, we do the drinking. You only need to settle the bill.
Long term le.... keep drinking until your system is immuned to liquor. Until you get immunized, you can fall back to short term solution.

These are the people who do not respect the environment. Makan everything and leave nothing for the future generation.
If you apply this in office environment, they makan the time their boss own i.e. the staff time. Use the time on any other thing other than what the boss expect out from them. So, they also dun respect the office environment. Then if they makan their boss time too excessively, company may kaput & they may be out of job. So, how to provide for the children (i.e. future generation).
So, can you see we live in harmony with nature?
