ummm do i have to save it to photobucket or can i just upload it? doable?? thanks, i think? ;)

it was my senior picture, taken in 1998 (before i lopped my hair off for graduation). it's the one i got taken for my senior/graduation yearbook. i think it was the last professionally taken photo i've done other than for passports and admin stuff where i don't even have a copy of it left.
go to top left - User CP. then go to left column - edit avatar and upload. and then...bob's your uncle once again!

hi all! euj reporting:

i had a great weekend:
friday night - gelato in subi (neighbouring suburb to cbd) - they actually have the best coffee i've had in perth
- llamabar with friends till about midnight - moet champagne whole night long
sat morning - coffee and a walk with indra's parents, then helped her get a car
sat arvo - dim sum with friends, shopping and measuring of dog door
- night - finding neverland (johhny depps is a legend) and dinner with friends
sunday morning - gold at the vines golf course - home of the heineken classic
- arvo beach till 6pm
- night - friends over, cooked dinner and had heaps of champagne and wine

I'M TIRED, but happy...

how was everyone elses weekend?

Yup. On Saturday.

But since only my mom alone in S'wan, we are back Thursday night to help her prepare stuffs. And not forgetting the church decoration...bla, bla... Just imagine 2 whole weeks of preparation and the matrimony only took 2 hrs to finish all. I was sitting at the back of the church and looking at those deco. "Boy! What are we gonna do with all those stuff after the wedding?"

perth is seriously amazing. in fact, australia is amazing. it's not called the lucky country for nothing. the river is the cleanest i've ever seen. people go swimming and prawning in it. several years ago, the electricity was out and about 200 litres of sewerage poured into the river. they closed it for a few days cos they said it was unfit for people even to take their boats on it...

if you ever want a relaxed hol, feel free to come visit me in perth...

I went to Brisbane in 2001 and Perth in 2002. Not a bad place. But can feel the differences. Not going back to Perth anymore cos it's kinda quiet and boring unless I'm looking for stuff like that. Will be visiting Brisbane again cos I missed the Tangalooma Island.

i thought perth was boring too when i first got here. the thing with perth though is that it is very spread out. there are a lot of things to do, but you need to know where to go. i used to go clubbing or to bars almost every night last year...

i don't have such a beautiful view of a river or anything - but i do have a yard and trees :) and squirrels, chipmunks, possums, raccoons, rabbits and various other critters. enough space to play a bit of badminton (not as big as a normal court, of course, but not too bad). so i'm a happy camper.

i would never smoke in front of kids or pregnant women...

it's not just the physical addiction, but also the social aspect and the ritual of smoking and also i love all the accessories like my bronze zippo!

it was end of 2003. sitting on balcony thinking about my busted up marriage, half a bottle of scotch gone, nothing else to do, didn't want to drink anymore, so tried some sempornas i got in bali real cheap.

can't say i would want to feel like that all the time.. so i hope you will consider stopping at some point when you feel better about things...?

i never liked it. tried when i was in sitiawan. my dad use to be a smoker. but once i got going, i really enjoyed it.

yeah, i'm not sure why i smoke anymore - whether it's cos i'm addicted, i'm still worked-up about my personal stuff, whether it's the social aspect, the rituals. my thoughts are that it's probably all of the above...

that might make it closer to latin - Alumnus plural is Alumni. although the plural for Alumna (feminine) might be Alumnae. but Radius is Radii. similar to the italian. :)

Malay is not a bastardized language. Malay is an amalgam of many languages sanskrit, tamil, japanese, spanish, portuguese, dutch, arabic. (Actually, there are more tamil words than sanskrit in malay).

But i really get pissed off when the waks from Java make fun of our malay (the sumatera and palembang malay i think) as bastardized malay. I got into a debate with a Javanese once because of this...

it was amazing. the fireworks were right in front of my apartment and went on for about 30 minutes. and there were all these people going behind the bushes which are at my apartment fence and trying to relive themselves, not knowing we could see them. even after we told them, some went ahead anyhow. i tried using the hose, but that didn't even bother some of them. started the bbq up at noon and finished up at midnight. i am feeling so hungover now, and i have a meeting in about 10 minutes! HELP!?!? :eek:

indra and i are so tired from having so much fun since i got back from italy. we're just going to have a quiet weekend starting with tomorrow. she's going to cook me a meal, we'll watch a DVD and have some wine...

so wine + 7-up = non drinker like me :o

even one full cup of wine + 7-up I'm all knock out. Head started spinning.

During my company function I can bottoms-up with that. Those smart one will ask me, "Eh, why your wine got so much bubble wan ah?" haha..
i am now having orange juice + fruit20 now (Fruit20 is like H20 but fruit flavored water).

not quite a screwdriver but it's actually quite good :D and no head spinning guaranteed!!

i make a mean mango smoothie for summer treats. mango (a bit underripe, so got some nice tartness), orange juice, vanilla ice cream in a blender. serve in a tall glass with a nice straw, throw in a few raspberries on the top as garnish. mm mmmm
