I thought Fulat is the top "striker"?:smile-2:
No, He play keeper cos he can cover the whole goal post with his sexy body. Where got chance to score. hehe:p Besides that No body dare to get close to him cos he will fling his smelly sweat onto them. Ewwwww!!
Or maybe he want to be spotted by ESPN so that he can work for them as a pundit. Good luck Fulat.

Okay, next time if we play again, we get you.
OK on! call me. Alternatively, you can also join me every wednesday starting at 8pm at sports barn. Microsoft subsidized so we only need to probably about RM5 each depending how many ppl turns up. However, I will be out of action for the next 3 weeks as I will be travelling. Come join me 2nd week of March.

Played in Sports Barn before, don't really like the pitch. We used to play opposite Sports Barn, a little further down, right after vitagen.
Anyway, we've changed our weekly badminton session to Wednesday. So, unable to join you but thanks for your invitation anyway.

Pompey 1 Man Utd 3.
Yeah Man U wins again. First goal Ruud, second and third Ronaldo. All 3 goals in the first half. Pompey fought back in 2nd half and scored in the final minutes.
Double Yahoo, Chelsea lost 3 nil to M'boro (Of all teams ?? Another Bogey team for Chelsea I guess but with such a big score line) Arsenal draw 1-1 with Bolton (could have lost tho, Arsenal equalised in the 90th mins)

That's for now, Jerry. ManUtd definitely needed reinforcement - at least 2 quality + tough-as-nail midfielders and possibly a winger like Giggsy.
Looking at Giggsy tear down the midfield with his blazing run brought back great memories when ManUtd was heading to its peak.

Yeah! Guess players like Beckham, Cantona, Roy keane...etc gave MU some style and character. And not forgetting great marketing!! Guess what Chelsea is lacking today is marketing. Great players, arrogant coach, winning games and titles but no freaking marketing. Real Madrid on the other hand has glamourous players, no titles, not even leading in the league, hopeless coach but great marketing. That's why they are the riches club in the world today.

Hmmm..... help me out here. Would I rather own a club which is the "richest" or most "profitable"?
I guess the defination of most "Profitable" would be a high % of nett income? So, for example, If MU makes a revenue of 100mil and it's net profit is 50% while R. Madrid have a revenue of 200mil with a net profit of 40%. Then MU is more "profitable" as they have a lower cost, therefore, making a higher % in margins. But that doesnt make them the richest coz R Madrid could have a lower net margin but that smaller margin could translate to more $ as compare to MU rite?

Mates,
Nothing is EVER impossible in the case of Man Utd! After CL 1999 against Bayern, you just knew that SAF teams have resilience and courage while playing with a swagger (unlike any other "boring" teams...errr... too numerous to number here...hahahaha... )
Jose Maurinho may bitched about the results last nite but I am certain that he's said "life goes on..." (ala his Mafia-style) when results went against teams like Arsenal, Totenham, etc. playing against Chelsea.
But if you look at it this way - ManUtd have a game in hand and if ManUtd won that - that table will be down to a more manageable 9 points difference.
All it takes is for Chelsea to draw another 2-3 games next while Man Utd duly wins for us to witness a nail bitting finish to the great EPL.... which is, not impossible.. Reason is - Jose Maurinho will quickly realize that with players injured and plus hefty fine and suspension, he'll find life at the top a living hell.....
If he chooses to buy more players (say 36 world class players) he'll have another set of problems. The Premier League permits only registration for 24 players and how do you keep this world class players happy on the bench (even if Abramovich has unlimited money to do that)???
As for le' Pools, I don't think they'll ever catch ManUtd. First, they're inconsistent with Totenham and Arsenal now trying hard to catch up and snapping at its heel.... and technically, ManUtd still have 2 games in hand + 2 extra points ahead which could translate into a vast margin of 8 points ahead or 2.5 games advantages..
The future looks good..................

Wah!! cannot say like that!! Arsene Wenger never so cocky. I think SAF a lot cockier then Mourinho during MU winning days. Just my humble opinion.

BELFAST, Northern Ireland -- Belfast City Airport is set for a name change -- to George Best Airport.
The airport in Best's native Protestant east Belfast will be renamed after the soccer great at a ceremony May 22 -- which would have been Best's 60th birthday.
Best died four months ago after years of alcohol abuse.
"George Best was the finest footballer Northern Ireland has ever produced and one of the greatest footballers to grace the world stage and a man who the public had great affection for," airport chief executive Brian Ambrose said Tuesday. "We believe that renaming the airport after George is a fitting and permanent tribute to his footballing brilliance."
Best, who joined Manchester United at age 17, led the team to the 1968 Champions Cup. He became one of soccer's first international superstars, but his life of heavy drinking and womanizing cut short his career. He died Nov. 25, three years after receiving a liver transplant, and received a state-style funeral in Belfast a week later.
A statement from Best's family said the airport was "synonymous with east Belfast, and with thousands of people using it on a daily basis, George's memory will never be forgotten."

Maybe Chelsea is the most hated club not because of the team but more towards the arrogance of their manager (The only ONE) and the club board of directors. Should be more humble when they win games. Good that Chelsea has took over the TAG from Man Utd. This is good for concentration in the EPL and winning more games.
Well nobody likes you when you win something and boast about it... Right Jerry!!!

Predictions by Teamtalk.com
What say you??
The gap between leaders Chelsea and rampant Manchester United is down from 18 points to just seven as the season heads to a dramatic climax.
Here TEAMtalk has a stab at predicting how the race for the Premiership crown could develop.
April 9
United cannot afford to slip up at this stage, making Sunday's Old Trafford date against in-form Arsenal a massive fixture. The Gunners are red-hot right now, but United benefit from Arsene Wenger's side having Wednesday's Champions League date against Juventus, the match and journey leaving them fatigued. Chelsea do not slip up against West Ham at Stamford Bridge.
MANCHESTER UNITED 2 ARSENAL 1
CHELSEA 1 WEST HAM 0
GAP: SEVEN POINTS
April 14
United cut the gap to four points, with Championship-bound Sunderland no match for Sir Alex Ferguson's charging side.
MANCHESTER UNITED 4 SUNDERLAND 1
GAP: FOUR POINTS
April 15
A day later and Chelsea drop points, held 1-1 by Bolton at The Reebok.
BOLTON 1 CHELSEA 1
GAP: FIVE POINTS
April 17
With the pressure on, Chelsea raise their game and dismiss Everton at Stamford Bridge. United, by contrast, have a less happy day in the capital, held by a Spurs side still chasing Champions League football.
CHELSEA 2 EVERTON 0
TOTTENHAM 2 MANCHESTER UNITED 2
GAP: SEVEN POINTS
April 23
Chelsea inactive, so United take advantage and revive the title race. Steve McClaren's Boro have a good league record at Old Trafford, but as was the case in the FA Cup this season, they are swatted away by a rampant home side.
MANCHESTER UNITED 4 MIDDLESBROUGH 1
GAP: FOUR POINTS
April 29
United go to Chelsea, who know victory would see them crowned champions. Beaten at Old Trafford in November, where Darren Fletcher's header won the day, Chelsea can ill afford to let United do the double over them - but incredibly the visitors triumph at Stamford Bridge. Game on.
CHELSEA 1 MANCHESTER UNITED 2
GAP: ONE POINT
May 2
Chelsea's game in hand is an awkward trip to Blackburn, who still need points to make sure of their qualification for Europe. What should be a tricky fixture against a team who rarely drop points at Ewood Park becomes anything but for a Chelsea side who suddenly hit form. And the three points means - finally - they cannot be caught. Chelsea are champions again, and the relief is obvious.
BLACKBURN 0 CHELSEA 2
GAP: FOUR POINTS - CHELSEA ARE CHAMPIONS
May 7
Newcastle celebrate the appointment of their new manager and send Alan Shearer into retirement by beating Jose Mourinho's champions, not that it matters for the Blues who savour another title party on Tyneside. United finish up with a home win over Charlton, and miss out on the title by one point.
NEWCASTLE 1 CHELSEA 0
MANCHESTER UNITED 2 CHARLTON 1
GAP: ONE POINT
Could be different I hope?????

Stan the Man,
I don't believe that prediction "nonsense" for one minute lah... First, it's too over-dramatic; and second, you just have a feeling that Chelsea is finding hard to cope with the sliding form of the team made up most by foreign mercenaries - the same topic we discussed last time.
Even, the Italian coach have admiration for English clubs which have invested in youth teams, etc. Chelsea don't have that - they buy ready made players and the charateristics of that kind of team is you need to replace them all the time..[which of course Abramovich has money laaaa...]
Chelsea IS concern lah.... Otherwise, Joe Cole won't talk about that last week, then followed by Ricardo Carvalho and finally, the not-so-special ONE yesterday...
I can see that Man Utd's threat is clearly in their minds even they can try to deny that.
And believed me, it will get a lot worse for Chelsea if the result tomorrow night goes against them (either a Draw or Lost). As a footballer (and Manager..) their mentality is get thru' a bad situation or "Pressure" as soonest possible via the next game. If that doesn't happen, they'll be feeling terrible and will most certainly affect the team's composure for the EPL Championsips run ins.
For me,
it's ManUtd to wins 5 on the throt
Chelsea 2 wins, 1 lost, 2 draws
Chelsea vs. Man Utd = winner takes all

yeah...Lehman 'deserved' that...for his arrogant and annoying attitude over all these years. Hahaha! Just joking...it was an 'innocent' come together clash.
9 wins back-to-back. Wow! Yeah...Wow! I think it all started with a solid defense line-up. I am very impressed with Vidic since he joined in January. I rate him much higher than Rio. Too bad Wes Brown was injured for the past few weeks. He should be in that plane to Germany. Van der Sar is back to his best. I have not seen him made any mistakes so far **touch wood**
Giggs and O'Shea has performed brilliantly since being asked to play in central midfield.
I am a happy fan at the moment. Long may it continue!!!

If based on current form, then I agree lah. Nothing against MU, i think they are getting stronger and stronger. Hope they remain that way. I also personally hope that Liverpool and Arsenal continue to improve then at least next season, we got 4 teams gunning for glory. My "involvement" with ManUtd was in the late 70's and early 80's. Pools were the best team then, so I supported with the underdogs much like my nature....
My favourite players are many (but follow eras): -
70's & 80's: Jesper Olsen, Bryan Robson, Mark Hughes, et. al. but most of all it is the "Big Norm" Norman Whiteside. He is tall, handsome, gritty and is practically fearless (unlike some wimp today like Robbie Fowler.............hahahahaha......)

Yahoo!! Spurs 1 Man Utd 2. Rooney scored 2 goals. Really an exciting game. very fast and attacking minded line up. Luckily Tot played very upfront. JS Park was fantastic poking here and there. The 2nd goal was his making and the credit should go to him. Poor Lee...Overall game was quite tense especially in the second half as both team were going for a win. Man Utd hold on till the end with 1 goal cushion. Surprise they only made 1 change. Glad to see Heinze on the bench. He should be featured soon..

IS IT FOR "REAL"
Ruud Offered To Real
Ruud van Nistelrooy's Manchester United future was plunged into doubt last night when Real Madrid claimed they had been offered the striker for next season. As Real football director Benito Flores announced he had advised the Spanish giants to sign Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard, Madrid sources alleged that Van Nistelrooy has decided to end his Old Trafford career. The Dutchman has been unhappy at being forced to play second fiddle to Louis Saha since February. And while he insists he wants to extend his stay at United, Madrid's claims will add fuel to the rumours suggesting he is set to leave
News 2
Ferguson To Splash Cash
Sir Alex Ferguson is closing in on a £16million double swoop for Argentine pair Juan Roman Riquelme and Aldo Duscher. Ferguson has monitored skilful Villarreal star Riquelme all season and put him under extra security in last night's Champions League semi-final against Arsenal - on the day that the Spanish club claimed United had already been in touch with an £8m offer.
Do you think Ruud will leave? Will Riquelme join the BEST team in this planet?

I wish I could say for News 1 - it's probably the most ridiculous thing I've heard - but these days, anything is possible...
News 2 - it is entirely possible becos SAF needs 2 back up midfielder. This is the department most depleted sometime in early Nov to end December almost every year for Manchester United.. so way to go, SAF..

same comments from me
personally i don want ruud to leave coz i feel he and rooney can make a great pair....rooney the provider and ruud the finisher...saha's can play backup or rotate with ruud sometimes
i had my doubts about riquelme actually because he is the playmaker type
a bit same as Juan Carlos Valeron....Valeron did not do well at MAN U even though he was a very important figure in Argentina....but still i think it is worth a bet because if Riquelme can fit in United squad.....United will have a very complete team....from defenders up to strikers

Do you mean Veron? Anyway this guy is not playing well in Chelsea or Inter either.. I guess Riquelme should be a good buy and the best news is that he and Aldo Dusher wants to play in Man Utd. That is good news for all. Now we going to have 3 Argies wearing the red shirt:D
Yeah, I hope Ruud won't leave cos he is already a Legend in Man Utd. He is only the 8th person in MU history to score more than 150 goals. I still think SAF will never let him go unless of course Ruud rebel... Nothing to say lor.

I think Riquelme will be too slow for ManU's type of game... He's more of a passer. Doesn't run much. Sort of like Zidane, but slower. ManU needs a fast playmaker... like Ronaldinho. Or Aimar. Veron is ok... he's more of an European style playmaker. Like Zidane or Platini.
If Riquelme comes, SAF will have to build the team around him. And make him the center of all moves forward.
But then you'll have a kickass freekick taker...

You mean Ronaldo is not a freekick specialist. Hahahaha! Just joking there. I still question his commitment to the club though. Looks like he is more focused on playing in Spain one day...MU is just a stepping stone for him.
Yeah, I have not really seen Riquelme play...so can't comment on that but I agree that we need a midfielder who is fast...not just good passer. I quite like to see Steed Malbranque or Joey Barton play in that role for MU. Or maybe even Papa Bouba Diop. He can scare the living daylights out of other midfielders. I don't think MU can convince the big names (Gerard, Ronaldinho, etc) to come.

Riquelme is an awesome player... he's not just a good passer. He's a brilliant organiser. When he's having the ball he practically dictates the game. Case in point would be Argentina vs Brazil in the qualifiers (the 2nd match) and in the friendly against England (Argen was dominating up to the point he left).
But as I said, he just won't fit into ManU's present style of play...

SAF told Ruud that he is no longer the first choice for the first eleven. He will have to wait for his chance to play. Ruud is going to speak to his advisor/agent for his next move
I hope RVN stays in MU way beyond his contract which expires in June 2008.
Game Not to miss - 29 April 2006 - Chelsea vs Man Utd...
