Can we have a standard size applied to all pic that was posted? I can see some was wayyyyyyyy to big and disadvantage for those on dial up as it took agessssssssss to load. Just like the avatar, there is a maximum size.
are there still people using dial up?

Normally we do warn people about it, but you can't really control it.
I guess we normally warn users on dial up also. But i thought dial-up has improved in Msia....

yeah, i can understand the whole problem esp with dial up...
when i'm in dublin, i'm fine coz i have broadband and wireless...
but back in wexford, coming to forum sometimes severely test my patience...
perhaps we can ask for member's cooperation...
and shall we say to try to keep pics at max 600x400 pixels...?

if a standard level is decided on, will definitely adhere to it :)
coz i too experience the frustration of dial-up when back in sitiawan...

i'm using dial up at home... :( and i've been complaining about them big evil pictures but no one seems to care about me...
however, i also have to add that some members are photoshop challenged so they may not know how to resize them pictures...

This is what I'm expecting to hear. 600 x 450 or 720 x 540 is just the right size. It fits the screen perfectly.

My friend, did I mentioned MAXIMUM size? is 400 x 600 to small for you? Anyway, I've been using this resizer (http://www.resize2mail.com/). Very user friendly.

thanks for the link ah jang... :D
for me, i prefer to use the standard tools provided by windows - e.g. the ms office picture manager. no need the canggih ones like photoshop.
