Daboss,
We have now the OPA newsletter known as the Loyal Post and from there we know the whole list of the names of current committee members.
To get these committee members to participate in the Forum, for a start, why don’t we email to them (address to each and every member of the committee) an invitation to join in the Forum and we on our part from the Forum also put down all our names and years we finish our Form 5s. Toh Muda has agreed to lead in the invitation. I have asked for his official designation and he told me that we can put his name as Toh Muda Mohd Khairi, OBJ Manjung District. If Toh Muda, Jamaluddin and myself (all three of us are from year 1964) are the oldest members of the Forum you can put our names first and followed by the other names according to the seniority they finish their Form 5s.
According to the Loyal Post, in fact there is an email address of a new member of the OPA, we can email to him/her inviting him/her to join in the Forum.
What do you think?

This is an excellent idea to get the ball rolling. Get all of them on this forum and let them see what great work we are doing here.......FORUMMING!!!

But I seriously doubt the OPA Committee Members have any emails. Still remember when we were at the OPA Dinner, they only ask for names and telephone numbers with a piece of A4 paper and a pencil!
Till today....not a single email nor snail mail from the OPA!
Cucuan Sir, I propose you to be the new president. :)

I'll second that.
What I meant was I will assist to write a draft letter addressing to every member of the Committee and ending up after the "Yours Faithfully" with all our names (and years) in the email.
I beg to decline the proposal 'cause I am more an arm-chair writer and the back-room kind of person than an active one. Thanks for the confidence anyway. Like everyone of you we have work up to our eye-balls even working on sundays.

i second.
Thanks so much for the confidence but no thanks, i beg to decline the proposal. If I know how to post a picture like that I think I will put in one carrying a banner saying "Get Lost Cucuan". First of all you must understand that the OPA is based in Sitiawan and ideally the main committee must be sitawan based. Moreover at this point in time, Mrs. Mah is the President elect meaning once the term of the current President expires, Mrs. Mah will take over. I think we can try to get Mrs. Mah to connect with us in this Forum. I believe she is a very sporting lady. Maybe we can get her children like William Mah and her other daughter (Irene Mah?) who is a lawyer to encourage her to log in with us. It was through my daughter's prompting that I got hooked to this Forum.
There is one avenue worth thinking about and pursuing. I am talking about Toh Muda. I think the Perak State Government has given him an office in Lumut but because currently his children are doing the important exams he will be moving his family from Malacca to Sitiawan but once his family moved to Sitiawan well I am sure he will be a very settled and happy man. I suppose by the end of this year he will be happily settled with his family in Lumut. Consider making an invasion into the next OPA AGM (I think normally it's somewhere in May next year) and we will vote our Toh Muda to be the OPA President Elect. If we do that then all the Forummers will have to give him the full support to try to draw all the OPA members into this Forum.

Cucuan, looks like you have a strategy brewing. Looking good. Lets go for it. But first, have to find out, how many of Forummers are members of OPA?

Andrew, is that your real bank number. This is a public forum and there may be malicious programs out there that scans for such things. If its your bank number, better edit it before something happens.

by the bottles........15 years ago. We used to drink a lot, and I mean a lot during entertainment. Order by the bottles. Highest record - 25 bottles in 6 hours. You have heard of beer parking, this is called XO Parking.
