okok....lets start a poll on this.

Basically GST will be introduced to replace the current sales and service tax
GST is meant as a consumer tax and u will have to end up paying tax on nearly everything. GST will be effected in 2007 but the rate is still unknown.
Most develop countries like Spore, UK, Australia and most states in US have this.

So, the poll options are as follows:
1) NO to GST
2) YES to GST
3) YES to GST if they reduce income tax rate
4) Dont care

Any other propose options?

"G" always plan thing and when something went wrong, takes month to investigate and end up inconvenience for us.... plus "tidak apa" attitude.

have to change the mindset of ppl before "G" implement it...

If you are taxable and have to pay GST, then you have have to weigh the net effect when gomen bring down the tax bracket. But I don't think they will. But if we dont have to pay GST and only income tax, then there many of ways of bringing down your income tax. I am NOT referring to evading taxes.

he is a trader, so chances are, he must also have GST on his output and to maximise his claims, he shld have input GST....
