Have a Hong Kong colleague. The thing that annoys me about this person is that she cannot eat anything besides asian food. So whenever we go out as a group, if she is around, you can forget about Italian,Mexian,American and any other kinds of foods but asian. Ughhhh.....can't stand people like this in a situation like this. Everybody has to accomodate for her. Dem irritating. I mean, you are here in a foreign land for so long, at least you could do is venture out and try new things. So whats your collegues annoying habits??

You got problem eating asian food meh? Anyway, I would always choose asian food if I have a choice. These things do happens even when back home. When u have a muslim colleague. Either you go with him/her to a halal restaurant, or u can choose to excuse yourself and go to a non-halal restaurant.

You got problem eating asian food meh? Anyway, I would always choose asian food if I have a choice. These things do happens even when back home. When u have a muslim colleague. Either you go with him/her to a halal restaurant, or u can choose to excuse yourself and go to a non-halal restaurant.

I'll eat anything laaa.....but some asians in particular (Ah Beng/Ah Lian) type very particular about food......The worst is if they don't like it, they'll start complaining and say asian food so much better!!! :mad:

currently my beef with co-worker is just one particular - dia tak tahu nak buat kerja. i complain many times oredi and i think sikit lagi this fella akan dibuang kerja. nice guy, but completely incompetent. what to do? not that funny. annoying because i kerja like orang gila to fix apa yang dia rosakkan :mad:

but at vin's work, there's a person that vin refers to as the "active listener" so in meetings and conversations she is very annoying. lots of "uh-huhs", "yes", "mmmmm" and other affirmative noises at inappropriate times, which is all the time. :D i've heard that other people want to smack this person too...

J has a new phone...so testing out ringtones lor...so found one techno tune he liked...he used that for a couple of days, then this manager...."hey J, your ringtone irritating la..can change ah?" i wanted to tell him..." your face and voice irritating can change ah? " haha..but dun dare...he's still manager!

when we organise any socials or outings she always whinges abt the food and place and come 1.5 hours late...
when we went on our coogee - bondi walk, we were all starving and ready for a nice lunch at one of those famous bondi cafes and guess what? she said she didn't feel like sitting at a table and wanted to buy take away fish and chips and sit on the grass
the young gals who wanted to have pasta, coffee and waffles were so disappointed
so the last time we went to belly-dancing restaurant we didn't include her
her face was black on monday
now we got to suffer bcos some of them work under her in her team (lucky for me i'm my own team haha)

The 'project manager' who knows nothing
This manager... goes everywhere and talks as if he runs the whole project. When a visitor (usually some big shot) visits, he will invite himself to the meeting (usually with makan) and then proclaims to them that he runs the show. Like this one time, some big shots came.. he invited himself, and offered to bring them to my centre, then... he PROCLAIMED to all that he runs this centre. I should have asked him to sit at my place and demo the system all by himself. AHAHAHA.. but kenot lar.. for the sake of the entire project.

If fact.. he just came in and proclaimed again. *sigh*

Anyways, since he is appointed himself the head of this department, I am now using him.. getting him to approve funding for training.. MUAHAHAHAHAHA

And the worse is.. he talks to you, while looking at you through the corner of his eyes. At times, I just wish to slap him. But.. somehow, he is licking CEO's chocolate starfish.. that is why he is still around.

This one is classic lar. He knows nothing. He is the head. Things not done. Boss threw me in. I had to do EVERYTHING. When some duties are passed to him. Not done. Everyday talk big. Talk nonsense. Go meeting, he talk talk talk, totally out of topic. But, like the other guy, this guy also very good in licking chocoloate starfish.

And he likes to join in our conversation. He then breaks into his own story, which is, naturually, totally out of our conversation topic. Then, he takes 5 minutes to finish a sentence. Not to say he stammers, but... he is not even sure what he wants to tell.

have experienced similar "whining aunties" too...just that these gals arent realli auntijies...but ex-grpmates la
will ask where to go for lunch, when others give suggestion, sure complain & in the end, sebulat suara wanna go to their X place...which we go to like everyday, and it is their fav...so for me standard answer used to be "driver decides" and let them discuss where to go...knowing all d while we will end up in X :rolleyes:

The 'project manager' who knows nothing
This manager... goes everywhere and talks as if he runs the whole project. When a visitor (usually some big shot) visits, he will invite himself to the meeting (usually with makan) and then proclaims to them that he runs the show. Like this one time, some big shots came.. he invited himself, and offered to bring them to my centre, then... he PROCLAIMED to all that he runs this centre. I should have asked him to sit at my place and demo the system all by himself. AHAHAHA.. but kenot lar.. for the sake of the entire project.

If fact.. he just came in and proclaimed again. *sigh*

Anyways, since he is appointed himself the head of this department, I am now using him.. getting him to approve funding for training.. MUAHAHAHAHAHA

And the worse is.. he talks to you, while looking at you through the corner of his eyes. At times, I just wish to slap him. But.. somehow, he is licking CEO's chocolate starfish.. that is why he is still around.

The useless Manager

This one is classic lar. He knows nothing. He is the head. Things not done. Boss threw me in. I had to do EVERYTHING. When some duties are passed to him. Not done. Everyday talk big. Talk nonsense. Go meeting, he talk talk talk, totally out of topic. But, like the other guy, this guy also very good in licking chocoloate starfish.

And he likes to join in our conversation. He then breaks into his own story, which is, naturually, totally out of our conversation topic. Then, he takes 5 minutes to finish a sentence. Not to say he stammers, but... he is not even sure what he wants to tell.
