Thanks for the list, Jin Wei. Of course remember who you are lah!
Didn't go missing, just went away for the weekend at my in-laws. My son's name is Paul. The Germans pronounce it as Powl, rhymes with Raul... :)
I hv to say life is so far so good in Germany. Language is a bit tough but I hv to say my German is better than my Cantonese (which is nothing, to begin with.. :o )
I'll be going back for CNY...first stop, Singapore, then KL, then Sitiawan. Hope to see you all.

well, i hv to say the quality of life here is not bad but income tax is high (comes hand in hand, i guess) and petrol is super expensive...cars on the other hand, are relatively affordable..(a friend of mine asked me to buy audi spare parts for him when i rtn to kl. gila!!). food is great here but i do crave for char kuay teow and SS2's assam laksa once in a while.
i will be in sitiawan just for a few days, will return to PJ and stay there til end of Feb, i think..will let you all know my sched once flight confirmed. better meet in PJ/KL lah..sitiawan is a bit hectic bec all "ka ki lang" from all over will be around.
aiya, want me to teach you all swear words?! Btw, "f**k" is not a swear word here. In fact, i hv seen a few ppl have that as their surnames. I am not kidding. Pronounced as "fook" of course.

Jade, hope u don call me 'gila' also. I have the same thought as your friend but not buying bulky stuff la. Can u help me to search for Seba Med Baby Bubble Bath price? My baby got eczema problem. 1000ml Seba Med Baby Bubble Bath is RM69.90 compare to 1000ml Johnson&Johnson RM18.90. It is very costly to use Seba Med but no choice due to my baby's skin condition.
Since we bau bau bachan, hope u can help and if its cheaper there, help me get 1/2 dozen for me. tq.
i'll check whether they hv it here and how much it costs but i can't bring 1/2 dozen for you la...you hv to understand when i go back, it's an annual trip and i hv to bring something for everyone in the family and you know how huge my family is..and travelling with a child with lots of suitcases, transiting in singapore, then Kl then Sitiawan is a wee bit tough...

SPJE, since u're going down S'pore end of the year (referring to ur postings in other threads), why not get it from S'pore? Can get Shirlene or ur twin cousins assist to check out the price. I know tat baby stuff down in S'pore cost almost half of what u have to pay here. I get approx. 95% of my baby stuff from there.

Ok I'll check for you. Imported goods cheaper in Sin than M'sia, maybe because of import tax in M'sia. So, I have tendency to buy toys for my kids here, so much cheaper even after conversion to RM.

I use Avent bottles and get all my bottles and accessories fm Singapore too. They are cheaper by half even after conversion. Lately, i bought an Avent bottles and food warmer, it is only S$75 in Sing and it is selling at RM259 in Malaysia.
Baby guess and Baby Osh Kosh are cheap in Sing as well but not in Malaysia. I like their quality. I still remember I bought 2 pairs or 3 pairs of socks fm Baby Guess and it is about S$12.90. Here in Malaysia ....RM39.90. How i wish i can go back to Sing? :(
Shirlene, will need your help ya. TQ. If the price is much cheaper than RM69.90, help me to get 1 bottle of 1000ml. I've just got 1 bottle and i think it will last me half a year. don't need 1/2 dozen (just kidding WIth Jade).

cannot do business la but can earn some pocket. bring in to malaysia in bulk might get tax so if we add in the tax and transportation, it comes to the same price in Malaysia.
I know of some other 'SPJE' :cheesy: that buys clothing (1 size 1 pc) from singapore and set up home boutique and sell it here. They are earning some pocket money this way also. U interested?
