... sell your car, what consideration do you need to think?

Do you think about financial and reason why need to change the car?

Mind to share what is the main reason to change a new car, beside financial issue?

*Appreciate it*

*Appreciate it*why do you need need to change?
Is the car serving you well at the moment?

Is yes! Is there a need to upgrade?
If yes! Why must upgrade?

Financially, can i cope with the monthly committment?

i think about changing car almost every other day. some of the reasons are:
- no car has all the features i want. for example, with my current car, a mini cooper s, it is fast, looks great and corners really well. on the minus side, the ride is bumpy and and because of that there are often rattles in the car.
- i get bored very fast. usually after about 6 months.
- depends on your stage in life too. whether you're single, married, marrie with kids...
- have been thinking about getting a golf or the new mx-5 when it comes out next year...

status is not important to me now... i prefer to lay low... be humble :p

so it didnt influence me for now... (but might be in the future, who know)

hmmm, great info... *noted*

perhap the main reason i want to change is due to the current car status, iswara. if you didnt sell it (current it 4 years old and very well maintained), the market value will drop and now oledi drop like sh*t...

so afraid when drop, no 2ndhand value liao... this is my thought (serious) in the moment...

This is not really the matter of humble or proud. You can drive a bigger car and still remain humble. Not all owners of big cars are proud people, right?

no lah. beside proud, also must see the petrol price too. if you buy bigger car, later the price increase to RM2 per litre, then the car owner will cry unless they are rich...

i am looking toward Hyundai Accent 1.5(A)... what do u think about this car?

I somehow think that ppl who buy and change new, expensive car.. is for status reason. As for those who say no.. I think they are in a state of denial.

You can still can a cheaper good car, so why must get an expensive car?? If you want spacious car, there's also a cheaper and good ones.. so why must spend lots of money on good expensive cars??

Really, i think it's like throwing your money away or rather burning it!!

Cars depreciate, that's what I loathe to even think of buying a good, expensive cars...

yes, majority ppl is yes. i can say im wanna to upgrade my status but not 100% is true.

there are reasons why i want to change. main reason is i need to change a car from manual to auto so that my wife can drive the car around when im not using the car. so when she wanna to go out, she can use it rather then me 24 hours fetching her here and there...

why i dunwant to buy another car rather than trade in? simple... maintenance. Maintain one car is better than maintain 2 cars. right?

yes, they have sporty edition call RX-S ... RM75,731. Just add another RM1.3K to get all the sporty thing like spoiler, intercooler scoop on the bonnet, side bonnet and front bonnet. is quite cool when i see it but cant buy it due to one reason. when going in to my car porch area, the road is going down...slanting type... so if the car too low, will hit the bumper...

sporty look = make the car lower :(

Oz ar... hm... well yeah.. Funk and I were just reasoning about getting a good car in Oz as its soo cheap here.. There's 2 ways of looking at it.

First: To save all money and get an asset like house/apartments, and then when we have extras, we can then think of getting good and more expensive car..

Second: Property in SYD is WAYYY tooooo expensive, and to wait until we have enough to get a house/apartment, we will be too old. So why not get a car instead since we can never own a house in Syd.

As good as the first option is, it may not be practical in Sydney...

SO, perhaps we can opt for the 2nd one.. hor!! :) hehe..

cheh, u know how to drive meh? :p i thought all the way u got driver... kekeke

nop, not planning to have 2 cars plus how often is the car broke down. as long u maintain it, it will minimise the broke down case. dun let this broke down thingy cost u another bomb just to cater for it... kinda expensive...
