Don't think so, I still get notification whenever there is a pm coming in. However, sometimes, there is no notification, but very rare.

naz, go to your user cp and edit options...
you can check (and change) your setting there.. :)

checked email notification setting, no change there. checked hotmail junk box, nuthin there either. somethings up me thinks. Its no big, just thot mebbe u mods n ads would like to know abt...peace.

Sounds like my problem, but instead of just PM notification, all my thread reply notifications are also inactive after the upgrade. And I've checked my settings. They're all okay.

hmm... i'm lost... lots of vbulletin installations out there are at 3.0.8 and there are no problems reported...

also, dunno why that i dun seem to have the problems reported... the only thing i can think of doing is to downgrade back to 3.0.7... :(

There's one thing I haven't done to troubleshoot on my end.

I'm gonna change my setting to no notification, then reset it back to e-mail notification and see if something gives. I'll let you know if it works in a second.

So far I'm not getting anything from this thread. :/

I'm gonna give it til tomorrow. Because before, sometimes the mail notification can be delayed 12 hours or so.

Still no notificatificatifications. I've given up. Will just check new posts manually, using my Jedi senses.

a file mail.php was corrupted during the upload... if possible, please confirm if your reported problems still exist... thanks!

I read your post, straight away hantam Get Mail on Thunderbird. Wham! 3 Notifications! After so long without any!

this should teach me a lesson... i got complacent during the upgrade (after having performed a few previous upgrades) and was careless... anyway, problem solved... :)
