Sitiawan is facing flood

Sitiawan is flooding. My parent's house in Taman Sri Jaya is flooded with water. :crying: .
There is nothing I can do to help them at the moment.
Call your parents to see if they are ok.

3 feet is just too fracked up. I blame it on the uncontrolled constuction all over that area. No more natural drainage waterways. Just like in Kuala Lumpur.

Lawyer Chen's house is about 100 meters from my house. And it's closer to the large monsoon drain and lower, IIRC.

The rains came down at approx six in the morning and by 630 the whole of club road was flooded.The pasar malam was a mess--all and sundry were floating around .A family friend who was on the way to work? got stuck right in front of the house and we had to help him pushed the car to higher ground(Water was up to the seats).
The floods were the cause of blocked drains everywhere--will have to talk to the YDP.The DID people should make periodic checks on all the monsoon drains.
They are being paid to do their job----by US.

Bright and sunny at the moment.....water at flooded area resided......call up Sila's mum, she said water masuk at about 4 inches, now muddy, start cleaning house.......kois are O.K., she said they were smart....all hid at the bottom, only the small assorted ones are swimming around, so uncle Jamal is trying to catch them now and he'll have plenty of cleaning up to do.......

My parents' house also kena floodlah. The drainage system teruk max. ie only 8 inch of depth.

My parents could not do anything but just sit back and watch as the water level raised inch by inch and in 20 minutes everything was floating around.
