IF this forum is going to be DICTATED by some stupid calculation where MY BATCH is supposed to by studying... count me out.

even if they are studying... SO WHAT? is it so hard to let us have our own forum to keep in touch with each other...

is there a law against students participating in forums that i did not know of??

If my memory serve me right, Under the University & colleges Act in Malaysia have a prohibition which restrict student from participating in large organisation, at certain level.

I was nearly arrested in year 1993/4 for trying to form a national association.

I cannot comment further as the act has not been updated

I was lucky that we have invited the Lord President & the Law Minister to be our Patrons.

As for not creating Class 2000 forum, it was actually a decision made earlier...even before you came into the picture....not to create them until next year. So, I guess we were just maintaning some consistency in our approach. Anyway, we are currently looking into it at the moment and will inform you of any updates.....okay?

If the admin & mods want to delete my year 1990, I don't give a dog's jubblies. I mostly post in the General Forums / KPC / Underground anyways.

I've been to other forum that don't allow you to even post without a spelling mistake, thusly:

And that's no joke. It actually happened. So, Andy be nice and follow the ruling set by them.

Admin pay for the server and domain name. They don't even charge us anything to be here. They should have the honour of setting the rules. This forum is the most lenient I've been to and the most fun. Just enjoy it. It's less than half a year til 2006.

this forum is meant for interactions, not class exclusitivity. as rightly pointed out, most people tend not to post in their own classes anyway, as there are more activities in general section etc.

trust me, my brother himself is from class of 2000, and no special priviledge given there when he moaned to me about the lack of class (although since then he has been busy with his new gf that he has no time to be here - just as well didn't create the class and be left empty).

Voon Chan, AUKU does not object to you forming associations for students. There are many student associations representing students in all uni in Malaysia.

If you were to try to register an association called 'Malaysian Student Party Club', they will just reject your application and case close. No SB tailing u etc.

My guess is that your association does not have the right composition nor the 'right' backing. Furthermore, the association cater for the 'difficult' type of students. If you check the history of Thailand, a few governments were brought down by this type of students esp those from Chulalongkorn.

To form a National Association is a big problem as that is the prohibition in AUKU. Application was rejected due to that.
