How to get rid of RAT??

Seriously...for past few weeks, when i stay up till late to study, hear scurrying noise from kitchen (my room is adjacent to it)...thought muz be insects, like cockroach or lizard...impossibly a rat.
too scared to check it out! what if the UNKNOWN jumps on me...recently been having bad time wif animals/insects!

but jus like 10mins ago, when i went to boil water, heard bottles dropping (my hsemate keeps a collection of empty bottles at 1 corner of kitchen) & then very very FAST...someting black ran across. 1st thing...i closed my room door!!!!

i'm home alone now...didnt see that creature again, but im convinced tat its a rat....black one...yuckss...can still hear noises on-&-off 4m daKitchen... :blink:

KoChun, i am an owl...but i dun catch & eat these big fat ratty creatures k :eek:

anyone knows how can i get rid of that creature...rat poisons mana jual?? scared la...after exams tomolow see how...muz do sumthing dee...cant go on!

I use rat glue. When I last lived in Sentul, I used the rat poison but these WILL take time. If u unlucky they die on u in some obscure area of the house and only their smell after a coupla days will tell you that its kicked the bucket, and you have to clear out your entire store room just coz the little prick died at the extreme end of the room.
Use the glue. I got two of em that dared invade my precious theatre, then I ....."burnt 'em at staaaaakkke".

really no bluff one.... we know the rule of the thumb, the algorythm of how a mice or rat runs... so we will always dirrect them to a place where we want it to go.... and at that place is a hand mand trap which we can trigger... so when it is at the rite spot we hit the button and it will stick to the wall... hahahahahahahahahhahahahahaa i still thinking of the moments i have fun with my brother when young........ hahahahahaa

u know why so expert.. cos in sabah the rats invades the house like no body business so we just need to do something... and the something is get ur hands dirty....

well lava rat glue is the best.... or even mouse trap will do... dun use poison cos as like naz said, u wont know where it died and u need to snif ur way to its crops..

cut a piece of cardboard as big as a paper file and put glue onto it... remember to put food like ikan masin, or break a raw egg york and put in the middle of the pile of glue... just one nite and u will see the rat there in the morning...

trap also can but may take longer cos rats are not stupid and they are timid with food.

7-11 tak de le...... kedai runcit sure got one.... ya the smell is very strong.. and remember it sticks so use a used cardboard and a used bamboo chopstick from hawker one.

one more thing dun go stick the whole cardboard with glue oh... just the middle patch will do... but now too little also... hehehehehehehehehee spread bout 70% of the board...

got my housemate to but a rat-trap...and another one set it up...with some cheese as bait...and guess what! i onli saw the rat yest...this 2nd fellow has seen it before scurrying around...

anyway all of us knew our roof had rats...

but i had alwiyz given benefit of doubt tat my bread etc tat got nibbled was d work of lil birds maybe...unlikely RATs....seems i was wrong BIG TIME

After few days, found a dead rat in the monsoon drain (and for good sake it have to be on my side) and another one under my car (*hump). With bloated stomach somemore.
