It is cheap for a fake, Now if you say LOTR TRILOGY that mean you should be getting a total of at least 12 DVDs in all, not including the bonus disk from National Geographic from Set 1, The Gollum Bonus disk from Set 2, and the Howard Shore Bonus disk from Set 3. If it does include these as well, I'd say provided that you make the purchase with both eyes open that the mastering of these fakes might NOT be perfect (ie low-bit rate, low Q double layer disks yadda yadda yadda), go for it!!!

Another AV Show at JW Marriot this year. Went for it yesterday. Must say this was the 'fastest' AV show I went to. Fastest in the sense I was in and out of there the quickest amongst the 3 previous AV shows I been to. I guess the fact that there was nothin actually for me to add on to my AV hobby contributed to the fact (the last one was the Denon receiver). So, I ended up surveying prices and new techs. A good movie projector (the X1) is now selling for RM 2,999. Its OEM the Geha107 would therefore b selling for a good deal less. Would recommend this for anyone going 4 a bigscreen xp.

Iman I am glad to see is not addicted to the Gameboy present I got her, she still prefers her regular supply of paper, scissors, glue and colouring pencils and pens. She is quite the artistic child. ANd Arwin is ever helpful as the 'unwanted critic' that always wants to 'add on' her artistic talents to the elder sisters creations which cheeses off 'kakak' no end.

I think Arwin takes some perverse delight in torturing the sister this way....its the way she grins .. :sus: :laugh:

Just cant do my work today, my office PC is one slow lame bugger that cant handle major data crunching, had to write email to boss saying I need a faster machine to properly do this next assignment audit. Now boss sez write a proposal to upgrade all department PCs for submission to the GMD! Whoa boy?! Now what have I done?! But if these goes thru, I will be the poster boy of the Audit Dept!

Think will stop by Damansara and walk around while picking up some groceries for the wife and kids.....

Well, I am cannibalising my Athlon 64 PC's components and transplanting them into the P4 Acer, end result, an additional 19GBytes, and a SoundBlaster Live! card. That should finally give me enuff storage room to burn those family vids to DVD. By tomorrow everything should be settled since I plan to also subject my video room to another sound system just for the Cube PC in there. I have given up trying to get the PC's True Surround capability from the AV Receiver, turns out it just canna be done. So the Philips A3.610 Sound Fusion speakers wil have a permanent home in there. GOd, that room is getting crowded and this is not helping....... :unsure:

Okay, I guess overall. I am nursing a very sore throat right now, but at work just the same.

Went grocery shopping yesterday, burned all my videocam family vids to DVD (finally) now that my PC has been 'upgraded' and moved in to the bedroom. So yeah I guess it was a semi productive week. The fuel prices got me thinking about scaling down my lifestyle, used to remember how a full tank for me meant RM38, not RM87.01 now (Saturday rush fill b4 the hike). I remember I was just as happy then as I am now. So why not just revert to the old days as mush as we can......food for thought for this week.....Or I could just be rambling nonsense wayyy to early in the week.

Time seems to be just ticking itself off day by day for me nowadays. Job have, family have, house and car have (okay!okay! the banks still own them..sheesh) , what else are we living our days for ........?

I can think of one so far. That is to guide our kids for their place in life....what other things than that can anyone tell me?

I think will be shooting off for home early today, have a sudden craving for butterised corned beef sandwich for tea Noor says will be waitin for me soon as I get home.....Hoping there will be a Catch of the Day serving for dinner too.. yumm yumm..
