white water rafting...... know one place over here.... very very nice..... they rate it level 5 which is the highest and roughest water it can be in this sports....

i think end of august or beginning of september - still alright. the best time is on june... so nice and water is so clear...

Your pics.of Perhentian really brought back those wondeful memories when my family spend our holidays there.Not once but twice.Pics.of d beaches with white sand,resorts,clear water ,snorkeling,boat ride......are activities we really enjoyed
when we were there. So...indah khabar juga indah rupa,don you agree?

I've been there 2 kali & now you're planning a 2nd trip & your son lagi seronok sampai tak mahu balik lagi!

VC, great pics.... next holiday destination.. will be Perhentian for me. A quick question though. Can someone who cant swim snorkel? hehe... I can snorkel up to 6 feet of depth.. after that, I need help to float or I will be drinking water....

I can snorkel before I can swim,
If you can snorkel in 6 feet of depth, 12 feet would not be a problem
Get a life jacket
Learn to breath through your mouth with the snorkel & how you can float face up when you are tired
I can go snorkelling for about 2 hours

Its sound like "traitor" to our own pantai.....tak apa lah jangan traitor to our country.

not traitor to our own pantai, but just got exposed to better pantais in our country! :D never mind, during musim tengkujuh on east coast then you can go to teluk batik or pangkor. i want to go to pangkor too - so long haven't been there...

It is a nice place, went there for the local version of honeymoon, and for 1st anniversary. Loved the restaurant. and the 2 room studio is very very nice.
