I was the housemaster of Shariman House somewhere in the '80s for a few years. When I took over, Khoo Khay Tim was the house captain. Even though he was not a sportsman, he took charge of the House every efficiently and with much enthusiasm. The house was in second place after the year's sport meet. Of course prior to that Shariman was in the last place almost every year. When I was in school, Shariman was known as Tiger House. We were quite strong then way back in the '60s but we were then never last.

Anyway, those who are/were in Shariman House, hold your head high and be proud of it, 1st or last does not matter. Shariman House is part of your school life, OK?

In the 80's I think Shariman was not always the last. Dont forget, when we say anyone turning blue, it means "konked", yellow is "cowardice", green is "jealousy" and red means "prosperity". What about that?

Tiger (Shariman) was red, unicorn (DC Gong) was blue, dragon (could be Tai Swee Kee) was yellow (could be McGraw) and lion was green. Maybe the ex-ACS students in the '60s and '70s can help our. The change of name came in only somewhere in the late '80s when the school was under Mr. Moses.

I was the housemaster of Shariman House somewhere in the '80s for a few years. When I took over, Khoo Khay Tim was the house captain. Even though he was not a sportsman, he took charge of the House every efficiently and with much enthusiasm. The house was in second place after the year's sport meet. Of course prior to that Shariman was in the last place almost every year. When I was in school, Shariman was known as Tiger House. We were quite strong then way back in the '60s but we were then never last.

Anyway, those who are/were in Shariman House, hold your head high and be proud of it, 1st or last does not matter. Shariman House is part of your school life, OK?
