could be lah. but it was a BAD breakup and i thought it was very clear that it was over between us. while we were pak-tohing he asked me to marry him, but i was 18 years old that time mah, so i told him "ask me again later". a year later we broke up, and 4 years after that he actually proposed!! :eek: for the entire 4 years i did not have any communication with him.

this particular ex? no freakin' way! we broke up for a reason, and i am too damn cynical now. i am a completely different person than what i was when i was 18 lah - back then stupid, idealistic and starry eyed. now much more jaded and cannot believe what a little idiot i was back then.. :squeeze:

He was dumped by his gf once before but somehow, both ended up meeting up again down the road...and nowadays....you can see that they both love each other very much and make a very nice couple(18 years of marriage now). :)

after reading all these...this is what i think...
IF ITS MEANT TO BE, IT WILL BE!

but then...its up to the couple. let me explain...
If both love each other very much, and after breaking up..years...for tat fact, even decades down the road...when their paths cross again...whew! (serendipity??) and they realize they still have feelings 4 each other...and wanna give it another try...there they go! and d dethermination to make it work this time round (since much lessons has been learnt earlier on!), they might be more tolerating...more gives & takes...more 'same tune' lo.

bottomline is...if u love someone deep enuff, and realize it...u'd be willing to look beyond & accept them really & truly 4 who they r...and dun try change them...so, hopefully happily ever after wont just be in fairytales;)
