actually, christmas in western world is not entirely joyful and merry... people spend too much time together at one go (christmas hols run for nearly a week) and after one too many drinks, there will be arguments and fights and drink driving etc etc... this is also the time where domestic violence increases, and the number of people getting divorce in january is usually higher than normal...:confused:
