KFC Sitiawan Stories?

Inspired by some off-topic ramblings in the "Photo Request" thread in the Underground forums, I've thought that we could tell any stories about the beloved KFC at Simpang Empat. We've all eaten there, some of us even had temp jobs there...

So here goes:

Once a bunch of 1990ers including myself went there for a meal in the afternoon, Yeoh Woon Seong ordered a banana split. So when the guy came back he put the dish on the table and left. We all looked at the dish, then called back the waiter and asked him why the banana split only got the split, but no banana...

Yep! There was only a bare scoop of ice cream there! No banana at all.

When buff was at his prime, he put a whole drumstick into his mouth, wriggled it a little and pull out a clean bone!

well, we used to go to KFC to celebrate everybody's birthday. it is amazing that with all the trouble we got up to, we were not banned from that establishment. back in the day before KFC served pepsi (Ptooooi!!! gimme coke anyday), we went there for mei chin's birthday party. brought a cake with us (transgression #1 - not allowed to bring outside food into the KFC). we had a good time, ate a lot of chicken, made a lot of noise (1A1, 2A1, 3A1, three years running kelas terbising in ACS!!!), then we sang happy birthday, ate the cake (transgression #2, disturbing other paying customers with our noisiness). but of course, there's a bunch of cake leftover, so we started "yam seng-ing" WITH pieces of cake. before long, the entire area around our table (floor, chair, table, everything!) is covered with cake and icing. everywhere! (transgression #3 - making a HUGE mess with the outside food we weren't supposed to bring in in the first place).

we paid our bill and left. then peter douglas (or was it you, ray? i forget) went back in, spoke to the manager and apologized for making such a huge mess. but it was for a good cause, as we wanted to give the birthday girl a very very happy birthday and a good time since her doctor just told her she had a 3 years to live...

and the silly manager actually BELIEVED the story...alamak.... :D

well there was that one week where i swear there must have been a bapok conference in lumut or someplace. everytime we were in KFC, can see droves of them, all prettily dressed and made up, hanging out. some even came into the KFC! seriously, loads of them. so we went and got "Coke float, with chocolate ice cream" at the KFC to watch all the comings and goings. tried to convince our boys, EJ, Ray and Peter to go on out and join them. i know they wanted to, but after all, sitiawan is a small town. news can get back to our parents what. so they refrained.
