rather cut down on regular coke than drink diet... when the day comes that i have to give up regular coke, i would rather drink water... :sad-2: i don't like sugar substitutes - long term effects still not determined properly...

yeah - research shows both good and bad things about sugar substitutes, but the worrisome thing is long term effects still not fully known. too much of anything can be carcinogenic, and especially too much of "processed" things rather than whole foods (i.e., sugar substitute vs. pure cane sugar). of course, i am not proposing that sugar is good for you in mass quantities - don't go out, drink a whole 12-pack of coke a day and tell your doctor "sila said it was OK" :laugh:

i actually love coke with lime, BUT i can only vote for 1 and i faithfully begin every morning with 1 regular coke.. :) coke with lime is good, but can't top the regular coke! vanilla coke comes after coke with lime. a bit too sweet but i'll drink it.
