when i was in standard 1, my pocket money was 40sen a day. i bought mi goreng in the canteen for 20sen and SAVED 20sen. my god...

I thought the 20sen is used to buy Ultraman's stickers??

you are right, siew jang...the cucur was 20 sen for 5...gosh!i really can't believe it was that cheap. I can only get 3 cucur now for rm1. The currypuff (with a lot of bawang and hardly any sardine) - was that 10 sen or 20 sen? I'm quite sure the nasi lemak at the old canteen from Ling Foong's mom costs 50 sen then and the aproximately 3/4 full small glass of cincau costs only 10 sen. Where on earth can we still buy drinks for that price now?

If you ask Ah Wong how important 20c can be, I am sure his story will be interesting. I think only a few of us know his experience, in Singapore, of course.

Ah Wong, come in and tell your story.

Not to mention in Catholic High School (PJ) 5 years back, they already have people selling pizza at rm3 per piece. If I had rm3 a day back in secondary school, I think would be the richest kid in ACS Sitiawan. Damn sad man our life!
