eh, my father oso got into a motosikal accident on friday morning (he was on the motor, and lost to the car who langgar him from behind) but luckily he only had minor injuries. he actually refused to stay in the hospital for observation, but thank god, he was OK...

since i had a big heavy bruise under my knee cap.. so i wa unable to walk and had to limp.. now feeling much more better...

finally emptied all but 1 suitcase today!! vin had already taken out all his stuff and put away his suitcases, but me... hehehehe procrastinator to the max! but i am back to normal now. although the latest i've stayed up is about midnight. usually i'm quite the night owl. but back in the swing of things! work is going about 300 miles an hour, and i'm back to my regular travel schedule. it's all going well.

we're also talking to some carpenters to add bookshelves to the front room so we can convert it to our library! woohooooooo!!!! :laugh:

The cupboards here are quite cheap if U don't go for the high quality ones. I bought mine for about RM200+, and it's oledi full with my girls books and sampah. One thing I realised is, the more cupboard, the more sampah.......... :D

the problem here is that for bookshelves, there are no middle ground. either you pay 30 bucks for something you put together yourself, then in 2 years the wood is warped and you have to throw it away, or else you pay 5000 buckaroos for an overpriced ornamental thing meant to hold an entertainment center. i actually want shelves to put books on. so we are getting the carpenters to come in. yahoooooo!!

just came back from vin's baseball game. their team won, 12-2 i believe! woohooooo!! weather today is sunny, with patches of cloud. in the shade it's actually quite cool - i got cold because it was breezy in the shade. but i didn't want to join the ang mohs in baking themselves into cancerous crisps. so i stayed in the shade and put on an extra shirt. heheehehehe

the garden is OK - we are just sorting it back out. the weeds were waist high in the back flower beds, and vin did most of the work of pulling them out and also trimming the shrubs. not much gardening action, other than that :D

any more mangoes in your tree, chris? boy those were good!!

for dinner, i just finished making cuban bread (still warm from the oven), and pasta puttanesca (pasta with garlic, anchovies, tomatoes, olives, capers, artichoke hearts). :D

Mac24, im not in d habit of taking it with xtra brown sugar...coz usually have pre-added white sugar into d coconut milk...

anyway..absolutely true! haha..can skip lunch oso with this breakfast! and resouceful...bleh...can add a good number of pounds if it too often :rolleyes:

food in malaysia... is great.... and i think u can never get anything like this anywhere in the world....!

For example... i went to place called Kg Baru in k.l for lunch after my site work wiht my contrators.... we went a place called Nasi AYAM kampung or called Village Chicken Shop.

there they had a variety dishes easily up to 100 odd dishes from vegetable right up to non veg..!

I was really amazed wif the food here

that reminds me of the days where i have to buy maggi mee for RM6.00 in U.K
