Its insecurities. You just have to enforce the opposite, thats all you can do. If you want to take the conversation any further, i tell you there's no end and silap2 you for no reason find yourselvesarguing and YOU will be going 'what the hell just happened?!'

...time will tell what? A dream girl got no part2 part2 wan. Since you oledi say NO to THE only dream girl, whats your wifey worrying about? And thus time 4u will tell no 'stories' in the future.

She is saying that if another girl just walk in to my life, I told her that no more dream girl & there is no more story. Exactly!

when your partners asks, why do you love me? you should be more specific. tell her exactly what about her you like. anyway, my partner never asks me all that cos i tell her almost every day that i love her. and a few times a week, if something about her impresses me or i think is great i'll her. like - 'i like the colour of your dress', 'you've been working so hard at work. i'm so impressed.' ' you have the loveliest eyes.'

If I say that her reply would be "Just that? So many girls out there with this features or dress". Not easy to handle my wife

and hence the mere mention of these 'taken for granted' things will earn
YOU valuable lovey dovey points from the MRS in the 'romantic' category

but have you tried it before?

aiyah, i know it's difficult lah, but that's what women are like. they like to be told nice things. it shows you are thinking about think them and paying attention.
i was with my previous partner for 9 years, so i know it's difficult, but it's actually easier when you put in some effort, then you will generally find they are less insecure...

here's my two penny worth of opinion...
vc, i know you've always maintained that your wife is open minded and you tell her just about everything including the incidents with your dreamgirl, ex etc....
speaking from a girl's point of view, no matter how open minded one is, after a while, this raises insecurities seeing that you have been reaffirming her worse fears (whether intentional on your part or not) time after time... you may have been trying to tell her that they don't matter but the message she'll see is that you talk about them an awful lot!
maybe it's time to balance things up a little... reaffirm your love for her more... the impression that i'm getting is that your son is even more important than her... she may be feeling like she's low on your priority... maybe it's time to change that...?

My priority to my son is more than her because my son really need my support. He is just 2 years old. I will try to do everything possible for her. Really not easy to manage a family

Really not easy to manage a familyi know it's not easy to manage a family... but seriously, no matter how strong a woman seems to be, she still need that equal support...
i'm not saying i'm fantastic but i managed with a lot of stuffs at one go all the time and i got the nickname supergirl amongst my friends here... and even then, i'm always looking for support to get me through... we're still human you know... everyone wants to be cherished... that's the bottom line...
