Wondering any of you still watching WWF wrestling nowadays? I still do when I am free, especially late at night.

I remember when I was still a small kid, my uncles and my dad loved to watch, ended up I also watched lor. Seems interesting, though looked very fake most of the time.

Do you think that wrestling is real or just play acting?

If you think they are real, why you say so? Can share some views?

If you think they are not real, why? Can share some views?

What about those blood and injuries all over the body and face? What about broken ribs and no more wrestling for the rest of the life? What about those chair hitting the head?

Having say all, I am looking forward for the WrestleMania 21 this 2nd May between Triple H the defending WWE champion vs Batista the beast. Who do you all predict to win?

i don't watch the show but odd times it's on tv, i can even direct the whole show...
i think it's a fake, fake, fake, fake, fake show... and a bad fake at that too...
granted, the hitting and all would hurt, but probably already used to those anyway...
really can't stand the whole mcmahon family with the daughter stephanie and whatever her hubby is...

the 89ers were crazy over wrestling when we were in form 1-2... we used to stay back after class to wrestle with each other... i was part of the tag team "divers" together with cireria... :) both of us fought fulat and buff before... cireria was badly injured...

i also went to stadium putra with cireria when smackdown came to malaysia... on tv, the camera only shoots what they want you to see... in real life, you can see the guy lying on the mat (supposedly out cold) lifting his head to see if it's his turn to get up and help his buddy out... very funny :)

hey, its scripted la... even the wrestlers admit that what. They actually sit down plan the plots out. But sometimes the whackings are real (albeit scripted), with blood and broken bones. I read somewhere their insurance all real high.

Mick Foley (aka Mankind, aka Texas Jack) even writes in his books how nice the Rock and the MacMohan clan are in real life. I'm no wrestling fan, but i like Mick Foley's books because blady funny.

I had a cousin sis once who asked her dad, why he watches wrestling if he knows its just acting... he told her the same reason she watches soap operas. (You know its acting also what, why watch it?)

yeah, its all actin and at times u do feel like throwing up due to the bad acting.....but one thing i do admire is dat how much practice they endure to make sure no one is hurt....

sounds like you needed a wrestling coach. to be fair, wrestling in high school and college is a real sport with real rules (i.e., no chairs, no tag team, no playacting, etc.) and don't fool with the wrestlers lah. they learn all the holds and things - basically how to contain another person without smacking them around. it's kind of weird - lots of grunting. also very sweaty.

maybe some of the pro wrestlers started out as champion college wrestlers then wanted to carry on but no real outlet for it?

maybe pro wrestlers are just steroided hyped up body builders cum wannabe actors?

anyway pro wrestling - i agree - all fake..

all of us know it's fake - but it's still entertaining... heck wwf even changed it's name to wwe (world wide entertainment). and if you watch wwe, the announcer always say 'greatest in the world of entertainment sports'...
