That's a good question. It's not like he's talking about a professional occupation ("I'm a 5th generation shipwright / tailor / fishmonger / man-whore") or being in a foreign land ("I'm a 5th generation Irishman / Chinese / Wookiee in America")... weird!

maybe 6 generations ago his family were Anasazi returned to earth via Sarawak? to disguise their return, they chose to be "Iban" to blend in with the rest of the Iban/Sarawakian population??

otherwise eh, i am 8000th generation malay, no? or however many it is to the 2nd wave exodus to tanah melayu?
