ummm, there's one place i know at the city center that serves buffet dinner. flat rate. around 28-38 per head. eat all u wan (buffet mah). all dishes like da food served when someone got married in sitiawan, plus some complementary peking duck!!! yeah!!!! location, i think it's near tanjong pagar mrt. forgot the name liou. i go ask my fren.

second place is marche for authentic meditheranian delight. in suntec city.

third is also buffet dinner. at four seasons hotel. 50 per head. location unknown. dishes unknown. oni heard from fren, never been there.

Seems like this gathering is taking shape. Just to let you all know first that I am always interested in a gathering like this. Only need to know the time and date as I am/will be super-busy from Apr to June due to work. Moreover, if it is decided to be held over the weekends, I may not be able to go as I need to go back to Malaysia to visit my parents (in PJ).

Here are some suggestions of good eateries as I frequent them:

1) Fullerton Hotel for chocolate buffet (the only one in Singapore) @ SGD28+++ only for Friday nights and Saturday nights
2) The Line at Shangri-La Hotel (near Tanglin Mall) for dinner buffet @ SGD65+++ or SGD45+++ for lunch buffet
3) Kuishin Bo (japanese buffet) at Suntec City @ SGD32++
4) Sizzler Steak Seafood Salad Restaurant at Suntec City #B1-021/023
5) Crystal Jade Kitchen, Shaw House
6) As for Marche, maybe can try different outlet. I only know there's one in Orchard Rd and another one in Suntec City.

Of course there are more good eateries but taking into consideration of the distance/travel, all the above are located are the heart of Singapore. Should anyone wants alcoholic beverages, it is also available at most hotels.

hahah, umm, catering? my company got a bungalow in pasir ris and we're having a party there later in june. they either cater the food or we do bbq. but i don't suggest we bbq, too troublesome. restaurent better. flip a coin, then choose. :)

I think booking a bungalow in Changi is not a bad idea at all...You guys are free to do anything there, rather than restricted in a restaurant. It's just an opinion. I still remember that we booked a chalet at Pasir Ris when Lilian came to Singapore years ago and we really had a great and wild time!! :)
