MAS will overcharge for flight ONLY, not cutleries inclusive...lol...
even travelling via either heathrow or manchester difference about 200euro!
the last time i travelled through paris, difference nearly half price...so go figure...
(by the way, nowadays most airlines give plastic cutleries - not worth collecting!)

I think it is not easy to penetrate into a foreign market, especially a country like Ireland. I reckon, they would rather hire their kind then a foreigner. Wouldnt you agree?

Unless you are willing to do blue collar jobs. Then you will still have to work hard!

Plus getting use to the irish accent can be a killer! I find it rather difficult to understand half of a whole sentence! hehehe...

Anyway, I think Malaysia is still quite an awesome place ;)

Totally gay.... :) (lol) but what i know is im force to employ malays becos of majority and i dun mind employ or pay higher for an expertise of any race as long is benefit to the company. blue collar? Thought most ppl need to go through that before can even penetrate to be boss...

there's actually a lot of equality here just as long as you have the expertise that the employers are looking for... and then some... like my aunt (ex acs-ian), she's the partner of one of the accountancy firm here in ireland...

plus when i tried getting my phd, believe it or not, i'm actually getting paid more than a lot of my ex-classmates even though we are at the same level... (by the way, yes, postgrad students here get paid while earning the qualifications)... :)

so all in all, the main thing is to meet the criteria... there are lots of malaysians here in accountancy, medicine (when i was in undergrad, ing heong from '96 and raymond from '98 were both in the same uni as me, and they were in med - acs rules!) and also a good few as restauranteur, like my uncle and hui mei's aunt...

ireland is a land of equal opportunity.... but of course, on the down side, home is so far far away.... i still get home sick, especially come chinese new year or whenever someone here i know going home for holidays.... :(

What you need to do is just to design your own logo and set all the rules and policy in your domain and that it! you will have your own forum as well.
