i've been really busy with work. and then at night i've been to the gym almost every night, so too tired to do much else the rest of the time. i joined fitness first on friday and i went to the gym thursday & friday night and sat morning. alsmot recovered now...weekend was pretty quiet - sat morning, gym, then lunch with friend, bottle of wine in the afternoon, mean girls dvd at night. sun morning - brekkie with friends, lunch with bro and night was sitting on balcony with indra.

i made key lime pie once - i'll see if i can dig up the recipe. it was very rich. ended up having to throw out half the pie since it was just vin & me eating the whole thing. and since the ingredients include a raw egg, it doesn't really last too long. so if you choose to make it, make sure plenty of people are around to eat it :D

ath - key lime is different from the normal limes you get at the supermarkets in the west - these limes tend to come from mediterranean countries. the key lime is so named because it grows in Key West, florida where it is warm and wet (as opposed to the mediterranean climates). it's very similar to (if not IS) limau nipis.. :D

i have to admit, i don't really have cravings anymore every since i started trying to lose weight, eat healthily and exercise a couple of years ago. now i eat till i'm not hungry, rather than eat till i'm full. seems to have worked. lost about 10 kgs. just got back to work from gym. it's about 7pm now. i'm the only person at work. i love it. so peaceful and quiet... :)

hi lil! spent the weekend relaxing. yesterday went to the a golf shop cos it had a big sale in the afternoon. didn't buy anything. trying to save money. then at night went for a picnic with a few friends next to the river and then we went back to my place and hung out till around 1am, just talking, drinking cognac and smoking cigars.
this morning took the dogs for a walk, took a nap this afternoon and tonight catching up with my brother for a coffee...

i had a relatively quiet day yesterday - just lazing about, catching up with some reading, watched the rugby match between ireland and france (sadly ireland lost) for the six nations championship... went out for a job since the weather was lovely... and that's about it... was home alone so it's nice to have some peace and quiet to myself...

today though will be going in to work at office shortly... haven't been in there all week so i'm expecting a good bit of work to do like updating the practice accounts and bank rec...

oh lil - we went out to an irish pub last night called the Claddagh. it was fun. one table over there were a bunch of people coming out for an early st. paddy's celebration. :D the pub grub was really good there too. i would go back there! when i was reading the menu, i swear i could hear a little irishman saying "aye, bangers and mash, lassie!" and reading along with me ;)

yup, paddy's day this thursday - me and my friends are going for the parade - i'm going to my office and watch from there, away from the crowd and can take decent pics, somemore warmer (not out in the cold) and there's a grand stand that will be pitched right across the road, so the parade would linger around there... fantabulous!

then, would probably go and enjoy the street ceili (irish dancing) as well... :)

after that, i'm having a small dinner party at home... pot luck dinner so a couple of friends would bring something along... i'll cook as well... i know a few people going on pub crawl but since i don't really drink and on paddy's day, people are drunk like crazy, don't want to go near them either...

salsa last night was so fun. highly recommended. anyone can do it and by the second lesson you learn about 6 moves which is more than most people will even know and enough to have a good time on the dance floor.

seriously, everyone can do it. i'm not very co-ordinated myself and my sense of timing is hopeless. in dancing, rhythm is everything and with your music background, you'd find that easy. seriously, you can do it!

Rod Stewart is a stadium entertainer, rockstar... different level of entertainment. But i like it when rockers do a small, unplugged set. Direct interaction with crowd and on the spot improvisation is really fun.
